Hmmm, there was a link here with a picture... it's gone now. It is white, yellow, brown and grey. Kind of a weird combo if you ask me... I'll be passing on it.

There's also one on his neck, and a smudge on his loin cloth thing. Very naughty!

This is exactly the case, with a slight variation: they normally don't let you know that you won't get it until the release. They don't give you any trouble with canceling an order, though. I have had this experience with them more than once now.

Is it just me or does Meet the Fleet look like a Frost in the picture. Also, it looks more grey green than midnight blue. I'm also confused about the lip look in the picture. The red, Port is a frost but that l/s looks like a gloss over a cream.

They tweak so many aspects of the makeup in a promo shot, that I wouldn't really go by that. Factors like light, after photo image editing, lip liner, glosses and layering shadows can transform them into something very different from their appearance in the pot/tube.

after really looking at this collection i kind of want four of the shadows, three of the pigments...maybe all four and one if the lipglasses.

im not too sure i want to get pandemonium since it's a lustre. can anyone who's already gotten this tell me how well it goes on and all since it is a repromote.

I got it with the Pandamonium Quad last year. When I depotted my quad, I sold that shadow. It is a typical lustre. Lots of fallout. IMO there are plenty of other great gunmetal grey shades that MAC makes in better finishes.

I thought the same. I'll be marking that one off my list and take a look at the perm collection. Thank you!!!

I already bought Technakohl Liner Smoothblue last week, it is in the perm line. One thing less I need to buy in May!

Yes, the lipstick on the photo doesn't match any of the descriptions

*sigh* I am starting to stress girls. I MUST cut down my wishlists. After seeing all of the GREAT stuff coming out this summer, and taking inventory of what I have already, I know I must be choosy. I *think* I have decided to buy pigment samples of the new piggies... there is NO way I'd ever use up an entire pigment. I have a fullsize Vanilla that I use daily, and it is still near full. And because they are blue, I know I wouldn't use them everyday. So, that will save me $60. And the blue nailpolish, well, I LOVE blue polishes, but not MAC polishes. The formula does not last on me. So, that has cut my list by $70. That's a start right?

Maybe it would be a good idea for some of us to get the pigments and split it in half or into thirds with one another and split the cost down? I would like to just get samples, but samples are never more than 1/2 a teaspoon at most and when I think of it, that's really not a lot.

Then again, I only want 4 things from this collection, so it's not a WHOLE lot. As much as I wanted Port Red lipstick, I reread the color, and it's a yellow red, I usually use blue-reds, so I dunno if it will really work on me.

Yeah, I thought about finding someone to split the jars with. That may be a better option. I don't know why I get myself so worked up in advance... once I see swatches, I know I will change my mind about some stuff

Usually I will split a jar with my mom. She loves colors.
smiles.gif
So I'll make her samples of my pigment now and then and she'll usually either buy the pigment for me or if I get two, she'll pay for one of them.
smiles.gif

It'd probably be best to either find someone from around your area or some friends of yours to split? Or a Specktra member in Florida! It makes splitting a little easier if they're close by I guess.

That's what SIL and I do all the time, but now it sucks cause they don't sell the empty pigment size jars anymore.
