Stopped by again and bought Shore Leave (loves it!) I wanted to get Lark About but it was SOLD out at my counter! It was the first to sell out an MA told me. But they gave me another sample of it

I asked what else is selling from NN and they said the shadows and lipsticks are selling and some pigments. But no one is really interested in the lustreglasses.

I almost bought Submarine but decided against it again. I just couldn't do it. I mean with Cool Heat and its blues and teals, I have to save.

I am suprised that Lark About is more popular that Mutiny. BTW did anyone get a Naughty Nautical postcard in their package from MAC.com? I just ordered port red and a few other things and I am hoping that I get a postcard.

Sigh.....I really miss postcards.

^ I ordered 2x and I didn't get a postcard. That's the first time I haven't with my internet order in a while... My store and counters didn't have them when I went either. And a few others have said the same thing.

I don't know why I'm having such a hard time finding one, it's my favorite promo in such a long time and they're being postcard stingy! lol

they don't make postcards for every collection. and with the way things are with the economy, its no wonder why they aren't spending money on them.

I can see why Lark is selling, it is very workable, it just can be used for a lot of things. I used mine to try to dupe Love Knot, I used Hey, Sailor and just added Lark About on top, not bad, not as sheer as Love Knot, but it worked to make a blue tone or highlight.

No not at all! BBB's color stays true even over Delft p/p but the sparkles are more vivid.

Ive just got mutiny, ensign and pandamonium today

i LOVEEEE mutiny but its soo similar to one of the GOSH pigments i have in 'spa' but the texture is so much better.
Ensign is a gorgeous coral/pink and very shiny which will be great for summer, i think im gonna wear it over my costa chica lipstick
and pandamonium will be great for a smokey eye

Okay, when I first got Port Red I wasn't sure about it... Now I am LOL. And now I'm wondering if I should get another one :S. I've never backed up anything but I can see myself wearing Port Red almost everyday. And for some reason I want Shore Leave too... . I swear this board is like one big subliminal Message LOL.

GREAT! Now I know that I NEED Delft! Haha, we are such enablers! SO glad I got Rollickin' thought, it works so well with Naughty Nauticals and will work well with Cool Heat too!!!

Well I finally got around to play with my Lark About sample, and wow...I like it more than I thought.
I used Macroviolet f/l as a base, lark about in the corners/lid, w/ Jeweltone on outer lid/crease, Mystical Mist in the crease w/ a little more Lark About on the brow bone & Jeweltone and Lark About on the lower lash line. It made a really pretty purple dramatic eye.

after looking at the swatches I'm really interested in illegal cargo....but i have no idea what other e/s i should wear with it to create an entire look. I looked at the ones on the mac site but...i dunno....any and all ideas will be appreciated!!!!

I think that illegal cargo looks fantastic with BBB and Lark About...that's how I wore it anyways!

I got all of my NN at a 15% discount because my freestanding store had a friends and family day...how cool is that? I saved thirty bucks! It's also funny because my store was out of the NN blue polish and BBB pigment (thank goodness that was the first one I picked up)!
