I still regret not getting more from this collection because I love highlight shadows and oranges...and I don't care that I have a dupe for Evening Aura because I still want that. I love my Spaced Out though. I love how with my powder brush it barely shows up on me, which for me is the point because my face can't take a ton of colour.

I can get it to work by layering Mylar as a base all over the lid before adding the Solar Bits. And I am using a 275 to put them on. The hard brushed recommended by someone are not working for me and produce a streaky mess.
But with the 275 it works. To get the colour on I am wiggling the brush around and work the stuff in. When applying them like this they work for me.

I agree... X-Rocks is AWESOME! It is apart of my top 3 blushes. THe other two are from Moonbathe last year, Afterdusk & Other Worldly. It will be a sad sad SAD day those 3 run out!!!

I have yellow, olive, tan skin and it looks great on me. Its a bronzey color...it doesnt look cool to me, but I'm also not good at the warm and cool thing. All I know is that I'm yellow, and this blush was made for me.

Not to mention the texture of X-rocks. If all of MAC's blushes finishes were like this, my NARS and Chanel blushes would gather dust. X-rocks has simply the best texture of any MAC blush I own.

very true. The texture of this is what I thought the mineral blushes would be like...but x rocks has a better texture than ANY mac blush, ever. PERIOD. Literally. seriously.

I couldn't agree with you more!!! I jump out of my skin when I see a Sheertone Shimmer blush!!! Goodness me, I LOVE IT! That's the finish our lovely Other Worldly & Afterdusk is! I could just eat all 3 of them... They are like skittles!! lol

Have you tried any other blushes with the Sheerton Shimmer? I'm lookin at Sunbasque, Trace Gold, Ambering Rose, and Flirt & Tease. Next time I make it to the store I'm going to look at those. That finish is just like the starflash finish... I want to smear it all over my face!!! lol

I really need to stop reading this thread because it makes me want to get X-Rocks all the more and I have *thus far* convinced myself that I don't need it, but the more I look at pictures of it, the more I think it will be stellar for fall.

I bought alot from this collection the day it came out and have been using it on an almost daily basis. This is probably one of the only collections from Mac where everything..lips, eyes, and cheeks works for me. This is probably my favorite collection since Moonbathe. Love it!

hi. i bought the solar bits scatterrays eyeshadow, love the gold shimmer but i could seem blend it very well. it always makes a mess, and it builds up and looks uneven. is there a better way to apply it?
