So much word. I am warm toned and live in LA, so I cannot have enough gold/bronzy colors. They just scream beach to me and I will wear them year 'round. I also love using bronzer as a blush and am in the market for a new one, so I cannot wait for these.

These collections are going to bankrupt me.

I am not completely sold on the solar bits yet, so I have to check that out (in person or Specktra swatches). I dont know why, but I feel the solar bits will either be hot or a hot mess, no medium.

When the first pics of the nail polish and lip products came out I thought I could pretty much pass on this collection. I thought I would maybe get the gold or the peach lipstick...but I'd have to see them. But then I see the eyeshadows!!! They are all so pretty...and VPs!! I think I want the cream one, the peach one, the black-brown one, and possibly even the copper one. Also, the solar bits are intriguing me and I want the lip conditioner/exfoliator. And the Cool Heat collection is looking amazing too so I am totally gonna be broke.

Today is the first day I saw the pictures that had the eyeshadows and powders too. I adore this.

I am so excited. I'm warm and freckly so this collection is going to be a peachy dream on me. I already have Expensive Pink which is a HG!


I couldn't wear any of Heatherette and very little of Fafi. I ended up returning all my Fafi.

The last LE I bought was a few pieces from N. So Hurray!!

I'm glad that Mac makes collections that work for lots of skin tones. Not every girl can pull off Barbie pink!



I do love the packaging too. It reminds me of how excited I got for the Raquel Welch Icon collection.

Ahhh, they arent even out and I can feel my wallet emptying out...Im so excited about all the collections coming out this summer<3 100% my colors, except Ive never tried blues and greens....AHH I cant wait for thisssss. I wonder if that mauve blush would look good on me...What kind of skin type do you think its for...It seems like a strange color that wouldnt do well with everyone! But im intrigued...

I actually think that I am warming up to this collection a lot more than I thought I would. The eye shadows and nail polishes are gorgeous!

I am hoping that Solar Bits have the consistency of a pearlizer. Just a sparkly lumious look. I think that would be beautiful especially the black one.

I don't know what a Solar Bit is but I want some!! I'm wondering if it will sort of be like a cream eye shadow like Metal-X but with the ease of application like with a paint pot. The black one sounds very intriguing. I don't mind a bit of glitter either. The warmer colours might make gorgeous highlighting shades.

I'm really interested in the Future Earth skincare too. I think I will definitely get the scrub and the mask. I'm a sucker for these kinds of things. Woot! I can't believe all of the shadows are VP's! I must get them. Can't wait to see some swatches.

"Solar Bits: transforming free-formed clusters of rich pigment and pearl. Applies shine and sparkle to eyes, cheeks, wherever you want highlights. Crush for full color and sparkle effect; for a light shimmer, sweep your brush over the top of the clusters. Wear with skin made provocatively golden through Bronzing Powder in Solar Riche and Refined Golden. Apply with 168 and 239 Application Brushes."

That's the description of a solar bit, so I presume they're going to be like pigment beads type thing.

not too much is standing out for me in the neo sci fi collection maybe one lipstick, one lipgloss and three of the shadows. i actually like the packaging though orange is a color that you'd least expect. the only other things that interest me are the solar bits. so im glad im not spending like crazy and i dont have to worry too much about not being able to go crazy spending for naughty nauticals.

Hmmm, I am intrigued. I am a little confused about the black ones though... I definately wouldn't want black highlights on my cheeks. Guess that one is primarily for eyes then?

The solar bits sound intriguing, but I hope that they aren't too small if they're beads. I have Guerlains Xmas 2007 Meteorites and the smaller sizing makes it more difficult to work with. The beads get stuck in the brush, which is a PITA.

I absolutely love the eye shadows in this collection. I'm thinking of depotting them from their special packaging (oh noes!) and putting them into a quad. Magnetic Fields, Femme-fi, Evening Aura and Time & Space would make an awesome neutral quad. Perfect for day to night too.
