Those solar bits look so strange in the jar. I know I am going to have to wait until I see them in real life but I am totally not feeling solar bits.

My favorite MA called today and said that her counter only got two of each of the nail polishes and three of each of the lipsticks. This is the type of stuff that makes me over buy because I feel like I don't even have time to weigh if I want them or not. Needless to say I pre-ordered all of the nail polishes and three of the lipsticks. What is my problem!?!

For the Solar Bits, I would imagine that they would be easy to use once they are smooshed up a bit. I'll bet that you can tap some out on to the lid, work them into a smooth consistency with your brush, then apply them to your lid with less fall out. I do that with a lot of my chunkier, lose pigments.

Maybe check them out in person if you can, but they are really messy. I guess you could cut down on the mess a bit by dipping the brush in the beads & then kinda smashing/swirling it into the container lid & then apply to your eye. But, even at that, there is still a lot of fall out.

bleh, that last swatch of the solar bits just did it for me..... I think I could probably cope with the fallout but the added work of mashing it up first as well as dealing with the application is just way too much of a bother......pass....

Does anyone know how Magnetic Fields e/s compares to the infamous Mothbrown e/s? I don't have Mothbrown and I'm always looking for something similar so when I read the description of Magnetic Fields I thought they may be close? Hopefully!

sorry, they aren't comparable.

moth brown has very little brown it it, more like a grey-purple. magnetic fields is definately a black-brown.

wow i'm so getting that magnetic fields, it looks/sounds like itll be great as a liner. woohoo i think i'm getting 4/5 shadows (may skip the copper time and space)
then of course my other lemmings.

No worries Audrey, I also am always drawn it seems to shadows. But I LOVE it!

This collection will definitely have my favourite packaging of the summer. I'm pretty excited about upcoming pigments, though. I still need to go play with all of this in person to see how it works with my pasty pink skin.

Mind you, it would seem I have a talent for pulling off colours I wouldn't logically be able to... I'm kind of unstoppable that way.

seem like everyone gonna pass on solar bits!!! before it was in my top list, as i love love the outcome.But after knowing about the messy part....im unsure now.
