What are peoples' thoughts on the Supreme lipglass? Is it similar to any perm colours?

Also do I really need X-Rocks? I have all the beauty powder blushes and I also want refined golden bronzer from this collection? It looks purty though!

wow that stinks. i was hoping to get my package perhaps tomorrow, just called mac canada (placed it bright and early tuesday morning) and they said its being packaged and sent out today. grrr. so to get to my place in winnipeg prob won't be here til mon/tues of next week. and my mom will prob receive the package and go wtf MORE MAC? dang it. I had hoped I could have received it myself before I write a final on monday and start a new job on tuesday. i guess itll be my celebratory gift of finishing that class....

oh well we all have our vices right? Its just that she tells me i have more mac than necessary for a lifetime (partly true) but she doesn't understand me like the rest of you do!!

just had to vent about the possible "talking to" i may get next week :S

Well girls, I tried my new goodies out this morning... As I mentioned before, I love Pleasureseeker. Today I am wearing it with Pleasure Principle over it and love it as much as yesterday. I have on Vanilla e/s with Magentic Fields in the crease, and it makes for a very pretty "day" smokey eye. I am anxious to try this out with other things, but was in a hurry this morning so I couldn't do anything too fancy. It's a keeper though. Then comes Spaced Out Blush, and meh, I'm not too happy with it. It took a few swipes for it to show up well enough, and once it did it was orange. Really orange. The duochrome isn't visable on the cheeks really. I ended up putting Don't be Shy over it to make it a more comfortable shade for me, and still I prefer Shy Beauty more. It's a shame because it swatches so pretty, but I really don't like it on my face against my pink skin. I think this one is going back

It is beautiful, but not for me. I was so excited about it too...

I am thinking I will only get Femme Fi e/s instead of all of them. After the orange cheek issue, I don't think I will wear those colors on my eyes much. I am very happy with Magnetic Fields though, and I think Femme Fi along with Magentic Fields will be beautiful. Not to mention, those 2 shades seem to be the most versatile of all of the shaodws. I am wearing Sunpower Solar Bits on my eyes today too, and really like it. I think I will exchange my blush for 1 jar of Solar Bits, grab my Femme Fi, and call it quits with this collection

Thank goodness I have been reading this thread because I am really trying to cut down on my haul!!

What are your feelings on Astral Lipstick? It looks good in the swatches, but in the promo pic it looks really dark. I want a nice brown lipstick, but I am not sure if it would be too dark on me since I am so fair?!?

Audrey - I'm so sorry to hear that you don't like the Spaced Out blush! I know how excited you were about it yesterday.

I don't think I am going to get either of the blushes this time.

Does Femme- Fi come out chalky? It looks pretty but I'm still not sure. I have Nanogold, Rite of Spring, and Dazzlelight so I'm not sure fi I really need it.

Does Evening Aura come off yellow?

Since my store didn't have 4 of the shadows yet, I didn't see Femme Fi or Evening Aura, but in all the swatches I have seen, Evening Aura looks to have more peach/pale orange tones rather than yellow. I think Femme Fi looks to have more of a golden tone. I wonder how Femme Fi compares to Rose Blanc e/s from Strange Hybrid, along with the ones you mentioned...

That's exactly what I'm wondering. Does it have enough color to it once it's on to where it will be useful as anything but another highlighter?

i would not really describe them as glittery. the only 1 that appears to have obvious glitter (when smoothed) is black ore. the rest (if you smooth them out) look metallic & foil-like. the pieces that you do not smooth out, however, look like big chunks of glitter.

femme-fi is not chalky @ all. it goes on very smooth, cream and shimmery. whether it is unique enough to get is another question. evening aura comes off as a light peach.

That's too bad Audrey...I know you were really excited for it. But don't worry, MAC always comes out with something else.

I'm really interested to see these comparisons to Femme-Fi because I do have a bunch of lighter colored shadows and I do use them as a shadow, rather than highlighter. I still want Femme-Fi, but I'm very torn as to whether I need it.

I found the duochrome to be absolutely noticeable (but not overwhelmingly so, or anything bad) on both myself and my friend who is a few shades darker than I am. I do find it to be orange if you apply a lot, but not too bad. I keep it lighter and it's rather pretty. I'm a fan of this blush.

On my skin, Evening Aura is a lovely pale peachy orange.

Audrey, I have femme fi and rose blanc. From memory I think rb is more frosty whereas ea is not. I also think you will get cream yellow tones from ea whereas rose blanc is just a shimmery light mustardy yellow (weird description, i know)

I just did a live chat about Femme-Fi. I asked whether it had enough color to it to where I could use it on the lid by itself (not blended with another shade) or if it was really more of a hiliter and the answer was:


"For your fair skin, I recommend using Femme Fi on your eye lids, yes. It will be a bit dark to use as a highlight shade"

So there you go - another reason for me to buy!

Edited to say that my Tuesday order arrived as I was typing this and I love Time & Space (looks way better on me than Woodwinked), Evening Aura and Magnetic Fields! They look just gorgeous together.

Pleasureseeker: Im such a peach/coral freak.. I already have Lollipop Lovin, Charm Factor, Upnote, Curtsy..do you think this is different enough from the ones I already have? Is it back-up worthy?? It does look gorgeous & everyone's saying they love it I dont know what to do!

Nakes Space: So im gathering this is in the same beige family as C-thru and Truth & Light of which I have both. And it's not actually peachy despite MAC's colour description. Need it or skip it???

Refined Golden & Solar Riche: My complexion changes everyday I shift from NC43-45 & NW35 in studio fix powder. Will either of these show up on me?? How does it compare to Heatherette's Smooth Harmony beauty powder?
I know I dont actually need either of these but I actually WANT the orange compact!!I dont care if it's blinding! lol
