MAC - Overrich Discussion

Heritage Rouge, Antique Green and Blonde's Gold are on my list. I can't decide between copperbeam and museum bronze.

I am glad most of these are permanent in pro stores.

I got Copperbeam - which is such a deep pretty red brown copper. And then this weekend I picked up Mega Rich. It is so soft but still has this rich color intensity. I thought it was going to be really bright but it isn't.

Mega Rich looks great over Rich Metal Highlighter Positive Charge. But I wore MR over a Bobbie Brown medium grey (Fog) with a deep brown liner & then just above the brown liner I did another smudged line of a blue grey liner. I have hazel brown eyes & it just looked very sexy & made my eye color really stand out.

I'm considering Blonde's Gold & Museum Bronze

I am going to be an Antique Green enabler because that pigment is the best thing ever! It has the best texture and the color is to DIE for! Get it!

I do that too. And, sometimes I'll take them out, put it on to look at it & then take them back off

I think so. The store and counter stock always ends up at CCOs. There aren't enough Pro stores to take all that excess stock.

I just picked up Blondes Gold in this collection. I went in w/ the intention to get both BG & Mega-Rich. Walked away from MR, too similar to firespot.

It was insanely hard to choose but I ended up getting Mauvement the first day I went in to look at the collection (I'm a relatively new addict of pigments so I wasn't really aware of Mauvement the first time it was released), then went back 3 days later for Mega-Rich.. because these are my first two pigments I went with less dramatic and colorful pigments to build up to the crazier ones!

I looked at some swatches, and these pigments seem MUCH better qualities than last years rush metal. Even mauvement doesnt seem to 'fit' into the collection somehow - it looks slightly washed out to me. Does anyone else notice this?

Maybe this is why the pigments are less 'full', since they seem more heavily pigmented to me..

Curious...

LOL. Its one of those situations were I can get them now but I shouldn't. Hhaha..

I've decided I'm not getting Antique Gold cuz I'm not a olive green lovin' kind of girl lately even though I have 4560497 olive green colors. Mega Rich is still a no for me also since I figure its similar enough to Firespot, which I never use, and I already have Mauvement.

Countdown to the first......

I think so. These pigments seem much more rich, almost creamy when applied. Similar to the metal PRO pigments. I would make sense if they were more heavily pigmented due to the way they apply. Just my 2 cents.

I picked up hefty samples of Blonde's Gold, Heritage Rouge and Mega Rich when I picked up my CoC haul. ITA with everyone here - Blonde's Gold is stunning & is quite versatile. I will definitely be buying a full jar. Heritage Rouge is a stunning deep metallic wine burgundy. Its seems very similar to Sweet Chestnut in the Spiced Chocolate quad, only more pigmented. I want a full jar of it as well

Mega Rich I'm not feeling too too much. Its definitely lighter than Firespot & Off the Radar... but it has an odd orange/yellow/gold/copper tinge to it that I'm not sure I like.

I hear you gals raving about Antique Green too... this was on my original list but the texture of it seemed under par compared to the rest in this collection. Anyone else feel that way? I should have grabbed a sample anyway...
