Both look beautiful on u and I agree about Nightmoth "taking over" a dark lip look at times when u want it just so... I have Cyber World and love it as well
Pretty!!! Gotta try that recipeCyberworld lip liner over Snob. I never thought I could pull Snob off until I tried it with Cyberworld
You definitely should! I can't imagine how I've ever lived without them. All this talk about Soar and Whirl is making me consider adding them to my Harem of Lip Pencils. (Yes, that's what I refer to it as now. My Lip Pencil Harem)
It's funny that so many pencils are selling out now, not just particular colours. When I bought some of the pencils from this collection at my usual counter, a few of the MUA told me that for years one of their best selling products (at that location) has been lip pencils even when their popularity was at a low point. Oddly enough, now I find myself enjoying lip pencils more than I did in my teens and 20s. Maybe they're just that much better and the colours are more appealing.I'm going to cave and get Edge to Edge and Soar. I can't believe how many of these pencils are sold out in stores or backordered online! I'm currently waiting on an order for Whirl. I've been using lip liners a lot more lately to modify the shades of less-than-flattering lipsticks. (I need this a lot because a lot of lippies magically turn an orangey, brown, or fuchsia mess on me. Lol.)
When I was in late teens and early 20s I wore lip liner a lot. But then the lined lip went out of vogue, so I stopped creating such a defined lip. Before I mainly used the liners for definition, but now I am using them to custom blend/modify my colors. Lip liners seem to have made a recent comeback, partly because of YouTube makeup personalities and celebs/reality stars like Kim K and Kylie Jenner. I definitely agree that they have much better colors now, especially with neutral- and cool-toned nudes and pinks. Before, your only nude option was Spice which was too warm for me.It's funny that so many pencils are selling out now, not just particular colours. That's a great idea, to cancel out some of the peach and make it more pinky-rosey-nude.I just bought Edge to Edge. Thinking about getting Rosy Rim as well.. I saw someone combining Rosy Rim and Oxblood l/s and it looked divine!!!
Yeah, Spice is not a colour I can work with and it was all the rage when I was in high school. It was probably a contributing factor to what put me off of lip liners for years. All the cool-toned nudes and pinks are definitely more suited to me. ETE is my new recent fave because it pairs so well with Nouvelle Vogue. If you do get started, you wouldn't be the only one. Lol! I think I will be heading to my MAC store to pick up a couple on Saturday when they put out the Toledo Collection (we get collections a month later here)Let me get outta here, I don't need you all to get me started on buying MAC $16 lip pencils now. Lalalalalalalalala *blocks eyes and ears* (peeping at Cyber World).
Yeah, it's so pretty! This is the girl I was talking about. That's a great idea, to cancel out some of the peach and make it more pinky-rosey-nude.
You've helped make up my mind. I'm definitely ordering ETE from Nordies today (it's backordered, but only for a few weeks). And I have a $20 Nordies Note that I can use. Yeah, when makeup artists used to say Spice was the perfect lip liner for everybody years ago, I used to shake my head because it was not flattering on me at all unless I used an extremely light hand with it (and that kinda defeats the purpose of a defining lip liner).Yeah, Spice is not a colour I can work with and it was all the rage when I was in high school.
