MAC Posh Paradise Discussion

I finally dropped by my MAC counter and was stunned to see Half-Wild still in stock. I swatched it and it's a very lovely color, even more so in the sun. I love purples, but I don't wear them enough to justify buying it... I'm more of a neutral gal.
I was sad to see that Deliciously Forbidden was sold out... but I could always order it online. It was still in stock last time I checked.
For funsies, I swatched Potent Fig and Fresh Amour. The latter is beautiful, but it's just not my type of color. I swatched Smoked Purple next to Potent Fig and they're kinda close. Smoked Purple is... browner? redder? while Potent Fig looks grape. It's sad to hear that it's finnicky to work with, I would have loved to own it.
I did, however, pick up Immortal Gold. :D
say what?! it's sold out everywhere near me!

and I don't wanna sound like an enabler but.... GET TH AS SOON AS YOU CAN! I love this baby to death! if it's somehow still there around fall color time i may grab myself a backup (a first for me!)
TH is my absolute favorite. Not only it is very creamy to apply, it also dries fast and has endless staying power on me, and it gives my lids a very natural highlight without looking glittery. It's the perfect gilded nude.
Stole the words right from my mouth, its by far one of the better ones and is nice enough to use as a subtle base or shadow.

I did this look on a client at work the other day using some of the new Paint Pots.

Treasure Hunt from lash line to brow and Half-Wild on the lid. I also used Violet and Kitschmas Pigments, Plumage and Ricepaper Eyeshadows, Blacktrack Fluidline, and #36 Lashes. Treasure Hunt and Half-Wild were two of the Paint Pots that I actually bought for myself from the collection, and if I had eyes as gorgeous as this girl's, I would be recreating this on myself!

Stunning look... Any chance you could do a break down of where you put each colour I would love to recreate this look....

Thanks guys! :)

I really hope I remember this all correctly, haha:

Treasure Hunt p/p from lashline to crease with a 227 brush
Half-Wild on lid with a 242, Violet p/m packed on top
Plumage e/s in outer corner of lid/crease with a 217
Ricepaper e/s on browbone and inner crease with 252
Kitschmas p/m in inner corner of the eye with Fix+ and a 242

Blacktrack f/l to line upper lash line with 266
Graphblack Technakohl to line lower lashline

Zoomlash mascara and #36 lashes

I blended out the edges of her eyes with Saddle e/s and a 217, also. I used Sweet as Cocoa Blush and her lips were Chestnut Lip Pencil and Can't Resist Sheen Supreme Lipstick.

I just went to the Site Map and I found all the PP. Even half wild which is allegedly sold out all over in case anyone is interested. Of course I already paid 2x the price on ebay, but oh well. I did get a Genuine Treasure, and Idyllic and a Nubile. I can wait on the Mattenes if they are perm!

Someone on p.49 alerted us that they were restocked. Sorry you had to succumb to the higher price on ebay. Are you certain the Mattenes from this collection are indeed permanent?
