I know they're not recommended for the eye, but those that have, fess up. Besides staining is there anything else uncomfortable about them?

Magenta Madness = great blush! As far as not being eye-safe, I've used other pigments which are also not eye-safe without any problems. I think as long as you have a good base and avoid using them on the waterline, you'll be fine.

ha ha I know what you mean. When i went to NYC, I spent more money on clubs, shopping for clothes, and trying out new resturants with friends, than on makeup. I was totally shocked but hey as along as you had a good time.

I got a sample of Fuschia and Yellow! They're SOOO BRIGHT.

For anyone visiting MAC Pro NYC, they have them out and for sale. They will allow you to make samples as long as they have samples to give (and I encourage you to buy something as well). Also I was talking to a Pro artist today during a break at update, and she said that usually Mondays are the busiest days and Saturdays are the slowest. Just something to think about. =)

In case anyone is interested- I have a very in depth review on each color at this site- I even have photos there of each pigment. You can find all of the reviews on my profile page here:

Caprig's Profile - Viewpoints

I plan to add more photos as I take them too.

Hope that helps someone!

I just got all six of the Neon Pigments in the mail today..I'm in love...i've been playing with them all day...they make great eyeliners...i know like none of them are eye safe, but oh well...and blushes and lip glosses....if you haven't gotten these yet...you NEED TOO...

They so remind me of the 80's...when i was a little girl

Now that people have had these for a bit, what are you thinking of them!
If you do use them on your eyes (granted, they arent eye approved) how is your skin reacting to them!? Im thinking about picking up a few, let me know

I have 3 of them - Full Force Violet, Red Electric and Green Space. Pretty in the jar, the colour payoff is pretty crappy actually and they fade quickly. I like my Red Electric on cheeks better, its an awesome blush!!! But all 3 on eyes need a good base colour because the colour washes out pretty quickly

i got rock it yellow, and tbh, im not all that impressed.
i used it on top of...i can't remember the name >___< well-the yellow shadestick, and it's deffinetly not all that bright.
it's just a little bit brighter than chrome yellow, or canary yellow.
after reading about using a white base, i'll probably try that next.

along with that,
they're extremely chalky...i'm pretty unimpressed :C
i was super duper excited!!
oh wellllll.

Totally unimpressed now that I've owned them and returned them.
I dont live close to a pro store so when I finally got a chance to go I bought all six of them.
I keep almost 99 percent of everything I buy at MAC, I only return under the most extreme circumstances, and this was definitely one.

THEY SUCK.
They are chalky.
They have NO staying power.
When you go to blend, they just fall off.
Even using a CCB, or another strong base.
Even used with a mixing medium, they didn't have staying power.
I could put a ccb on my hand and then one of the neons, and within 3 minutes they were gone.

In my honest opinion, I was so unimpressed.

I loved the colors but DAMN! terrible texture. terrible forumla

MUFE has some similar colors with MUCH better staying power.

I agree that they are chalky and have no staying power. I only bought one and it was Full Force Violet. I immediately sold it here on specktra. I only swatched it, never used it. All the colors were sooo pretty though just not worth buying.

As soon as I heard about these I got really excited, but then I researched a little and they are unfortunately not eyesafe...But hey...they're gorgeous so I guess if you wanna be a little dangerous!
