Yeah the 24s will take almost the entire visible part of a new mac lipstick! They look pretty shallow but they hold a lot! That's what CS told MACGIRL13, that they're DCing these and making new ones. First off, we all know how much CS's word is worth, but DCing these already!? WTF MAC!? I ain't about to have a bajillion different palettes! My OCD will be kicking my ass!
I get the impression that these newer palettes weren't a big hit....and at their original prices a lot of people were opting for things like the Z-palette. If they are really DCing them already I would imagine that would be the reason. I wish a pro store was here in my city...I really wanted to go on a depotting spree tonight lol.

My source was told that the cost of the ingredients to make the palettes dropped in price. I don't buy that tho. Prices don't drop that significantly that fast. Something is up.My MAC girl said that the price point they were before that it stopped being economical to use palettes and no one was buying them so marketing lowered the price. It makes more sense to me that they are being discontinued after this massive clearance. Needless to say I ordered three singles today and will be B2Mig a lot next weekend
If you don't fill them completely full and are careful when scooping them out, you should be ok. It was just frustrating for me cuz it would always get stuck and i would have to pry that damn divider off and lipstick would be smeared all over it. It wasn't pretty.
I posted the price decrease on my ig and one of my followers works for mac and said they saw the decrease coming. She said mac is trying to compete with other brands and this decrease is perm. It's does make sense though bc inglot recently had a sale on their freedom system... It could also explain why mac has had free shipping lately!

MAC US has had free shipping for awhile (unless you mean the free overnight or 2 day codes). They have had codes for a long time....so it's not a recent thing if I remember correctly

No shit! Inglot is also working on allowing online ordering for pros. I'd much prefer that. I'm planning on ordering well over 100 shadows and would rather do that online than thru an email and over the phone.
And send out magnet replacements to everyone with crappy ones!

You can still order the inserts now. They'll be back in stock, and will ship and charge your card when so.
Hold the palette in both hands. Twist both hands in opposite directions, like you're twisting an ice cube tray. The insert will pop out, allowing you to remove the pans. It's pretty easy.
