Apples and oranges. They are two different colours. If you want to know which of the two would looks better you. You may have to go to the store. Two different purples and two different undertones.

From the swatches it looks like PC is an true purple and Instigator may have some red or berry in it. Both are very beautiful and I think they both will suit all skin tones.

I think all of the lipsticks from this collection are available for pre order on the nordstrom website. It Says that the expected shipment date is 12/23.

Thanks a million. I think I'm all set. I ordered Punk Couture, Studded Kiss, and Instigator. For some reason I did not see Carnal Instinct. Maybe it's me but Punk Couture looks like a black lipstick. I thought it was purple. Perhaps it goes on like a dark purple.

Yes! I'm so excited that I can pre-order and truly hopes that Nordstroms doesn't cancel the orders. I'm going to be out of the country on vacation from mid December through the new year and was low-key worried that I wouldn't be able to get my hands on these goodies. I just pre-ordered: Instigator, Punk Couture, and Haute Couture by mistake, ugh! I meant to get Carnal Instinct and put Haute Couture in my bag instead. Will definitely be returning that one.

Pending until it ships. It might put a hold one for a day for $1 I believe, then it falls off.

I would assume they won't charge until they ship out your items. They may do a credit check to hold your stuff tho,. Cause if they charge and then God forbid cancel the items, they have to make all these adjustments to give back the credit. Seems like a waste of time.

Punk Couture is purple. Hautecore is the only black one in this collection. There are swatches floating around somewhere earlier in this thread. I think the swatch online is just misleading, as is the majority of MAC's color swatches online imo. And to my knowledge Carnal Instinct is not part of the collection. I think it's only going to be a special release for Singapore or something like that...

Thanks for the heads up ladies! Just placed my order. One less headache on Black Friday/After Christmas. Also, if you are ordering today make sure you select from the drop down menu like others have mentioned. Nordstrom has the pictures mixed up for Hautecore and Studded Kiss.

Eh, I don't feel like waiting for deliveries. Since I'll be off work for two weeks at the end of the year I'm just going to buy in store so I can swatch in person and not have to deal with shipping costs and/or punk azz UPS and Fedex. PC is too crucial for me to not be able to get my hands on these goodies IMMEDIATELY after purchase lol!

Yea, I've literally set my money aside to walk in the MAC store like a boss and just point to what I want and tell whoever is working to bag it up NOW lmao. That's another reason why I feel like I should just wait and get PC in store, bc I need to swatch EVERYTHING in MN to be sure of what I want. So I'll be going to the store anyway!
