i agree, my favorite lipstick of this year probably will have to be pleasure bomb, even though its so new. its just so damn beautiful!!! have two backups of it!! and i rarely back things up.

They're very close. Bling Black is more pigmented and that's why I skipped Jet Boy.

My initial MAC order arrived earlier today. PC AND Instigator are gorgeous! I have nothing like PC in my stash. I like it much better than Heroine. My Macys order from Tuesday is scheduled for delivery on Jan. 2nd. Im so glad I ordered from MAC yesterday. I know I could not wait until next week. My second MAC order which included me Studded Kiss.

The sparkle is spread more thickly through the new ones, I have found. Compared to the old ones, I much prefer the new gold and pink. The solid black is a bit more opaque in the new version too. They're all sheer, though and I'd agree the pink and gold base color is a touch sheerer on these new ones. The end result on the lips isn't sheerer, though, due to finer but denser sparkle color. I definitely think it's not worth paying more for one of the old ones at all, since they're so similar. If you don't have the old ones, just get the new ones. If you have the old ones, compare them with the new ones - you may be pleasantly surprised like I was, if you like sparkle.

@erine1881 I went to the mac counter a little while ago and got Gingerly! On my way to bea blush whor They also said they won't be getting Punk Couture here so now I Def need to try and catch a restock. I'm so bummed out.

I started to post this in the Magnetic Nude thread, and then both, but I settled on just this one. Hahaha! The star of this look is Studded Kiss, my pretty! Don't mind my totally untenable brows that I didn't bother touching today. I'm getting them cleaned up on Monday & until then, we're going totally au natural! Lol!

I think this might be my first selfie posted anywhere AND my first Specktra selfie! I'm excited!

Lids: Bronze. (I'm out of shadow primer, so it was a low-key lid day too! Lol!)
Cheeks: the slightest touch of Magnetic Appeal to highlight, Autoerotique, and Gleeful for contour.
Lips: Studded Kiss lined with Vino

I love Autoerotique & Studded Kiss so much, it's unhealthy. This is basically how I feel about almost everything from the PC/MN collections. Be still my heart!

That's PC on the lips, no liner. I've got the pale color from the plum & pink MES from Divine Night on the lids over Dangerous Cuvee pp and the mid tone mauve shade from the Temperature Rising quad in the crease. Wholesome f/l. Just a touch of At Dusk on the cheeks.

I have Blackware still and it does not have any glitter in it. It doesn't have any shimmer and was flat like a cremesheen. I actually liked that better than Dark Outsider.

Liba! It's so nice to see your face :) PC looks awesome on you!

I've only worn Studded Kiss so far. NYX Caberet is a good liner to pair with it. It's also my go-to pencil for Deeply Adored and Sin. I looove this color and I'm glad I impulse-purchased a BU of it when it launched on the MAC site.

i only grabbed PC and close counter from mag nude!! im satisfied. wit me trying to sliiiiide into 2014 cuttin back i totally had to skip instigator cuz it seems too close to PC (to me)

I bought Instigator and Punk Couture at the MAC store around 10:30 am yesterday and to my surprise the store was empty. The MA told me that I was the first person to show up because they received the Punk Couture items today and they were organizing the displays for the items. I skipped on Studded Kiss because of the comparison with Diva and Hautecore is not my thing, but 15 year old me would have been ecstatic for this collection and go for everything.

Everyone should go for Instigator, it's such a flattering color for everyone! Punk Couture is also a pretty cool color and definitely the star of this collection. Both colors made the green of my hazel eyes pop, so yeah... they're winners for me.

I did a comparison of the purple lipsticks from PC with other lipsticks to see similarities and here are the results:




Punk Couture mixed with Peacocky Kissable, MAC Instigator, Revlon Shameless, and MAC Heroine
Instigator mixed with Peacocky Kissable, Rimmel Kate Moss 04, MAC Punk Couture, and MAC Strong Woman




MAC Heroine, MAC Strong Woman
Revlon Shameless, MAC Punk Couture
MAC Instigator, Rimmel Kate Moss 04
Punk Couture mixed with Peacocky Kissable, Instigator mixed with Peacocky Kissable

Rimmel KM 04 can be a dupe for Instigator, but Instigator applies better, is more matte, and is a wee bit lighter than Rimmel KM 04. For those who missed out on Strong Woman, Revlon Shameless can be a dupe. :) Heroine and Strong Woman aren't close to any of the PC lippies. I'm glad that these lipsticks are matte instead of retro matte.
