MAC Punk Couture Collection (December 26, 2013)

So I finally got around to wearing another one of these fabulous lippies!!
This time it's Punk Couture!!


I really love this colour! It's so so different to any other shade I have and I enjoyed wearing it very much!!
I am so happy with the finish of these lipsticks, I think they are very well suited to matte and they apply well with a lip brush or even straight from the tube!!
I LOVE retro mattes, but they work better with a brush for me and not so much from the tube!!
I would however like to see a retro matte black, but I'm not going to be greedy and I love my Hautecore VERY much



Here is another pic with Punk Couture in a different light!! It looks much less purple here, I think lighting changes this lipstick completely!!

I just have Instigator to wear now which I am super excited about wearing!! =D

All these pretty vampy lipsticks have made me crave more Mac shades!!

I want Sin and Smoked Purple, sadly the UK doesn't have all the pro products on their site though so I may have to find them somewhere else, the only pro counter in the UK is in London which is quite a while away from me :/

PC looks great on you. I have recently wanted to pick up sin and smoked purple as well.

I couldn't agree with you more regarding the RM formula. Decent application is nigh on impossible without the help of a lip brush. The end result's worth it though.

Did you wear a liner with PC? And for heaven's sake, how do you get those brows to look so perfect?????

Everything looks on point and gorgeous on you. I love the way you highlight what is your secret.. I'm dying to know Lmao!!

And well highlighting is one of my fave things!! I'm wearing Lightscapade in the pics!! I really want to buy some new highlighters!! I only own Adored and Lightscapade right now, I used up a Dior Amber Diamond, Too Chic Beauty Powder and a Soft and Gentle. I prefer the 2 I have now though, but I do want some more!!
Annnywayyyyys! How I highlight!! I use Mac 234 split fibre brush for the center of my nose. I use flat side to apply the highlight and the blending side to do just that
I sometimes use Mac 286 duo fibre tapered blending brush for my nose too, it gives a lighter look which I sometimes like!!
Then I use a Sigma tapered highlight brush for above my cheekbones, cupids bow and chin. I usually use about 3-4 swipes per area, often going back for more on my cheekbones
It's really no secret!! I think it's power of the powder and the brushes that does all of the work!!

Hey ladies. This was an interesting combo. I put RiRi's Who's that Chick over Haute Core. I lined my lips first with NYX's emerald city green eyeliner (I use it strictly as lip liner) then went over that line with Palladio Ultraviolet (it's a really dark purple that looks almost black). Then I filled in center of bottom lips only with Ultraviolet before applying hautecore and then wtc. It's like a metallic-y goldish pewter color. It's much prettier and interesting in person compared to the picture. Let me know what you think if u try it.

This will look great to balance a face when making a smokey eye in pewter.

Ladies! If your colors don't work for you, please please please don't return them! There are so many ladies here who didn't get a shot at the initial stocks, or passed & regretted it! I ended up with everything that I wanted (and then some!!), but I am SURE there are ladies here who will gladly reimburse your costs by purchasing anything you didn't like or that you shouldn't have bought after all! Everybody should get the chance to try these, and it makes me so sad to think of poor returned lippies being destroyed instead of beautifying lips elsewhere! Please! Think of the LIPSTICKS!!
