MAC Punk Couture Collection (December 26, 2013)

I think mac need to bring back a lot of the matte colours that they have released in the last two years permanently. I was on the site yesterday and noticed that the colours for matte are all pretty neutral and the matte collection is very small compared to other finishes. I dont think matte finish lipsticks are a fade. I personally feel with my darker complexion I get a better colour pay off and if I want some shine I can just add a lip gloss.

I love MAC Mattes! The Retro Mattes, not so much. The end result is beautiful but I'm not keen on the application.

It's not like Charred Red. It's less brown by a lot plus it's brighter.

MRV, if you like your warm reds you may like to check out Chili (also matte). It's a couple of shades lighted than Red Pepper and it looks like it has a wee bit more orange but it's a gorgeous fall red.
