MAC Quite Cute Discussion

I am excited for "Quite Cute" lipstick because it's a bright whitened lavender! Hopefully it's as good as Lavender Whip. The hearts on the mineralize blushes are too cute even though I have enough mineralize blushes to last me forvever. This collection kinda reminds me of Sugarsweet and Hello Kitty. I wish it had special packaging.

I don't know about plushglass b/c I've never tried them but right now I want Bubble Tea, I <3 U and perhaps Girl <3 Boy. I also want Play Time lipstick and most likely, the quad now that I know the finishes. I don't really need it, but it fits with the other items I'm buying so why not. I am just ready for spring!

yeah i dont usually do back ups but must get another naked and depending on funds i will get another in synch too! they are my most used liners!

yeah this will be a big haul for me! the qud, 2 lippies, one gloss, at least one blush and a back up of naked liner! and how awesome that naked and in synch are coming back?!

Now if only Temperature Rising comes back, I'll be a happy gal. I've had to start rationing mine, since I use it on its own all the time.

At least I won't need to ration Naked any longer.

There is something seriously wrong with my computer here. LMD84 has my entire post quoted but when I submitted it and viewed it, it was cut off right after Bubble Tea, so I cut all the rest of it out. What is going on here? :shock:

THANK YOU MAC. This collection is right up my alley, even the names! "Goody goody gum drop" and "Bubble Tea!"

I'm relieved I don't need the quad since I have tonnss of purples but so far I'm liking the two violet cremesheen lipsticks, possible Naked lip pencil (the hype is luring me in!) and possibly a blush depending on what the deal with those is. I love the hearts! What are plushglasses like as far as pigmentation, consistency, etc?

Ah, I'm loving what I read so far about this collection! All the l/s will be mine, the blush and In Synch and Naked lip pencils too, I didn't get them last time they were released. I already know I will be getting more from this collection than from Peacocky and WW. Now a creamy lavender n/p in it , please. And a mint or baby blue one, and it would be perfect.

I also am hoping the Quite Cute lippie is like Lavender Whip. I loved that lipstick & it fell apart over the summer due to the extreme heat. :-(
I am loving the idea of white in the lippies. Reminds me of the 70's type lipstick shades. Not that I was around mind you, but I have heard from family.
PS: What exactly are plushglasses? I'm not too well informed when it comes to lip-glosses.

I'm liking how this sounds, the bright colors and all the purples!(my latest obsession) My usual guy at MAC (Marvin!!!!!) told me about this a few days ago and he said it was japanese inspired names and colors. He showed me the modle pic (didn't take a pic cuz i didn't want him to get in trouble) but it was all about colors like pink and purple! basically if you love girly girly colors then this is your collection

I was around in the 70s, but I wasn't wearing makeup. (Well, not quite true. I'd break into my mother's makeup trays and play, but I wasn't going anywhere outside the house looking that way...)

Plushglasses are a gloss with a "plumping" quality- they give a bit of a sting, or tingle when you put them on (this doesn't last), like Lip Venom. A lot of companies have these sorts of glosses. They tend to be quite sheer in colour and sparkly (not glittery- the sparkle is more restrained). I personally don't really notice the plumping effect (with this or any of the glosses that make this claim), but I kind of like the tingle and I find that the glosses do make lips look fuller/ lusher by virtue of their texture and shine.

I'm curious about these because of the "creamy" description that some of them have. I haven't seen a creamy plushglass before and I'd be curious to see if it looked different than a regular creamy lipglass. (I guess even if it doesn't, they could still be pretty colours.)

I'm definitely psyched for purples. And personally, I don't think I could ever get enough...
