I've done this before and it's so disappointing. I've kept them too, I guess in the ridiculous hope that the color will somehow transmagorify or something and one day look fabulous! Never happens though.

I look good in purple, but lilac... that is a whoooole different story. And peach can be tricky. Thus, unless I start acting like a delusional fool again I will only be purchasing one of those blushes.

I'm worried that I might buy the blushes just to find out they don't work on me :/

I think with lip products I am but definitely not with blushes and nail polishes!

I agree, I buy colors just because they are pretty. Most of my collection I haven't even tried yet.

LOL, now I have opened mine just haven't exactly wore them out. Part of the reason is I'm not that great with blending and it's easier to pull off neutral colors because you can't really tell if they are blended or not. Now the bright colors, I'm afraid to look like a HOT MESS.

When I get new makeup as soon as I come home i try everything

Like today I bought my first orange lipstick and a matte pink lippie.
I took off my dazzleglass put on the orange, wore it to the store came home and tried on the pink one. haha

i hope its dupable. To be honest, I am waiting for something sensational to come out from MAC Collections but that is just becoming a rarity. Some new products, new techniques.... SOMETHING!!

I really admire you ladies for your reserve! I'm usually tearing something open on the way home to look at it on my hand again, at least. I have noticed that there are periods where I buy more and, during those times, I find that I can accumulate stuff that I don't end up wearing for ages, just because it sort of slips my mind. I'm trying to get better with that. That's one of the reasons I've promised myself that I will buy QC ONLY if it looks distinct from Lavender Whip and Blooming Lovely, because I don't pull those out often enough as it is.

Thing is, I want to go out and do those things but truthfully, I rarely put on makeup.
I've been trying to get back into it, but lately I've been depressed.
I buy make up to make me feel better, when I get it, it's the initial excitement and then that's it.

I am still super excited bout this collection! I need more purple lippies in my life. I dont have any colors that are like the ones in the quad, it will be my first MAC quad EVER, I'm so excited!!!

I want some blushes that arnt pink or coral, so I want to ge the purple and beige ones. I used to not be that into blushes until VV. I used to think they didnt make a difference, but realized it can finsih a look and brighten up my pale face.

I've been feeling brave when it comes to makeup lately, so I might get Candy YumYum l/s . I hope its not a drying matte

Even though I may not get anything from this collex (trying a no buy), if I get anything, it will be QC. I don't pull out LW nearly enough like you, but it's because I don't have a backup!

I think I'm going to break my "no MAC blush" vow with one of the heart blushes. It's a mineralize blush, right? So it doesn't count...

I'm a writer/freelance designer, which means I do most of my work at home... didn't even have to go out if I don't want to. But I found out sitting in my pajamas all day does make me depressed. So, sometimes I wear makeup at home just for fun and experimenting with colors. Which is great because I don't have to worry if it looks odd

. If the look was good, I can recreate it on the days I'm going out .

[/quote] Also a bit disappointed, it looks so much like Sugar Sweet 2.0 and I was hoping to get a nice collection for my birthday I can splurge on. So far the only thing I am interested in is the blush with the green heart just because it is green.
