kitties. I had four, but lost Katie last September. She lived to be 18 years old. My cats are my children and I

I should work for MAC. I just thought of another great collection. Unless it has come out already and I missed it.
What about a Classic Hollywood Glamour Collection. They can name different items/colors after classic Hollywood
beauties like: Elizabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe, Ava Gardner, Dorothy Dandridge, Josephing Baker, Lucille Ball, etc.
I can see amazing lipsticks, blushes, eyeshadows, liners, etc in gorgeous & unique shades. Guess I am in daydream land today due
to the weather here in NYC. We are getting snow!

this would be so awwesome. But we must add Rita Hayworth, Lana Turner, Bridget Bardot, Ann Margaret, and Betty Paige

I picked up a book about Studio actresses last year, and I just love looking at their pictures. Ava Gardner is just beyond gorgeous, and of course all the rest of them! A collection inspired by them would be amazing! R.I.P. Elizabeth Taylor

Back to the subject of Quite Cute though, can anybody think of a potential dupe for the light lilacy color in the quad? It doesn't have to be MAC but I would like it to be around that price range or cheaper! I just got some Aromaleigh mineral shadows in that I'm really happy with and I think they might have taken away my lemming for the quad. But I really want a light lilacy color still!

NYX makes a cheap palette called "I dream of Barbados" that seems to be very similar. Temptalia has a review on it as well as several other googled blogs. NYX is fairly cheap on ebay. I order from Joy

I'd be so over this. I'd probably buy every single item from it just on principle. My parents used to have lots of books on film around the house when I was growing up, so I spent a lot of time looking at studio glamour queens from past decades in my formative years.

Awe I hope everything goes well. Pets are like part of the family, its always nerve tracking when theres something wrong. Animals are strong, she'll be good as new in no time.

R.I.P Elizabeth Taylor....what a fighter! Not to mention drop dead gorgeous! I'm proud to have the same name as her.

OOoooo love the hollywood glamour idea. Beauty was seen different back then, everyone was natural! I'd see some really bold beautiful colors coming from a coll like that!

HAHA! No kidding. When my mom was driving with me in my car, it smelled like White Diamonds 3 days later. RIP Elizabeth.

On topic: Macy's got all testers in today. I like the collection and didn't expect to favor Quite Cute lipstick. I don't have any lavender colors.

The nail polishes were cute but $14 a pop is too much for their quality. I will check if OPI, Zoya or Essie have got similar shades. The purple plushglass was nice too but they break me out and make my lips chap faster.

I pre-ordered all 3 blushes, the eye shadow quad, 1 x Candy Yum Yum, 1x Play Time, 1x Quite Cute.

Like everyone I was so sad to hear about Elizabeth Taylor. She was absolutely beyond beautiful. Her dark hair and dark eyes were just stunning.

Octoberviolet--I hope your kitty gets to feeling better. My furbabies are getting older. I have 2 sister kitties that are 16, another kitty that is 12 and my baby boy Ishmael is a sheltie. He's 15 and sometimes thinks he's a cat. They are all showing their age and having different problems.

I'm still wanting two of the blushes and hopefully not giving into the third but I'm afraid resistance is futile The quad is super cute and love the colors but I figure I have dupes so I shall try to resist.

Martha is beautiful! I hope she will be better very soon. I only have one kitty which isn't really mine, but she is from a housemate and visites me from time to time. I've had guinea-pigs in the past and it was really hard when i lost them I love animals, they can make you feel a lot better when you're down.
