awesome!! thanks so much! i had no idea!I love eco tools eye brushes. I got mine from a swap in america but boots and superdrug now stock them. They obv get a huge price increase than the states but even so they are still so cheap and great quality.

cool! do you still have any of your 20 yr old mac brushes? how long did they last*pops in to subscribe to thread*
New brushes!!! I don't much care about mineralized products but I loooove brushes. I have a great collection but I'm always looking for innovative new brushes. I'm not sure about this split fibre business but I'm intrigued. I can definitely imagine using it for a crease/blending brush so that one's at the top of my shopping list but I'll make sure I budget to buy them all in case I "need" them.
I bought my first MAC brushes nearly 20 years ago and also have other high-quality brushes. They're a great investment. Ecotools and other companies do have some great value synthetic brushes but I've never found cheap natural hair brushes I thought were worth their price and there are a lot of products and techniques that work so much better with natural brushes.
i'm starting to like the blob - it amuses me!anyhow...i like the idea of new MSFs...but that blob in the middle is not the most appealing thing...
yeah i am looking forward to seeing swatches of the shadows for this reason! These MES look beautiful, I wonder how they will swatch as some of them have lots of similar colours in them and others like the lime green have other colours in it too. I wonder how they will effect the overall colour. I like MES but while I bought the ones from VV, I don't find myself using them very often as they are so dark. The lime green, dark green, blue and gold are appealing to me so far. I'm really looking forward to finding out more about the brushes, I love MAC brushes and these sound so interesting. If they work well I will probably get all of them if I can get hold of them. I also love MSF, I have Stereo Rose which I adore and Pink Power from Wonder Woman but I don't really use that at the moment much, still trying to figure it out on me.
i hope they are not so special the price is jacked up though! They are all completely new, nothing that has been released before. They all contain minerals mined from an area in South America, so they are very special!
fingers crossed they won't do!^ me 2 Lou. Somehow we always pay more when things are 'special'.

I'm with you there. And the minerals don't come from the mines looking brightly coloured and sparkly. They are processed with chemicals and heat to make them look like that (and sanitize them). And if a mineral were truly rare and special then I wouldn't want it being depleted from its natural environment and used for makeup. And this raises my suspicions of this mineral stuff being quite gimmicky. Unless that special mineral mined in South American suddently makes the MES pigmentation payoff a whole lot better. I think except for brushes, this collection is gonna be a skip. I like gimmicks when they involve free, cute pins for spending money on stuff I already want, or putting cute designs in a basically functional blush or eyeshadow (or whatever) but not when they involve pseudoscience like "rare, special" minerals from exotic areas with dubious science supporting their alleged special properties. Snake oil!
