For me wetting the brush after I have the MES on there works best. The 235 that came with them is my favorite for applying these. It seems to hold the shadow best of all the ones I tried. I was using the 239 at first and went back to get the 235. It is so worth the money to me.

I tried a tissue under eyes, I did primer... but evene then it gets on my lashes and when i blink....tada!!!! hahaha Maybe i should use a smaller brush... I got the 249 and 252....
u guys think a smaller brush would help with the fallout? or maybe slower or a more humid brush? I spray the MES with fix + then dip and apply but... still!!!! damn QF and clarity!!!!!

242 huh? i think imma buy it...hoping it would be good. Do u suggest layering the product lil by lil or going packed? cos i think going packed is what causes me to get the fallout.

The glitter glue helped a lot but still! if i bat my lashes .....glitter disaster! lol

I'm sure this has already been discussed/posted, so I apologize if it's repetitive, but can anyone tell me how to use the 128 and 235 brushes? They are gorgeous but I don't quite know how to use them properly... Ie. Which side for applying colour, which side for blending... Thanks in advance for your expertise :)

If you read through the last 10 - 15 pages, quite a few people posted on their experience with the brushes. Happy reading.

Well, for the 235 I would use the natural side (the dark side) for applying the color and the synthetic side for blending it in. That's how my MUA used it on me and it was lovely. So much so that I ordered it later. Hope that helps!

[/quote] Thinking about the exact same thing, it looks like a great grey eyeshadow and I can never say no to grey eyeshadows....

LOL, I do the exact opposite! I get a load of MES on the brush (mostly on the synthetic side), spray it with fix+, tapp off the excess and then just wiggle the brush onto my whole lid (my eyelids are not that big so it covers the whole area). I remember reading that someone said these split fibre brushes were not good if you like to use the tips, but I completely disagree, especially with the 235. I think the ridge where the two kinds of fibres meet makes an incredibly crisp line, and almost creates an automatic cut crease when I apply the shadow to my lid. I absolutely love it! You may have to be more careful when using the black based colors like Smoked Ruby, Dark Indulgence and Blue Sheen, but for colors like Mineral Mode, Faux Gold and Rare Find it is like magic!

I tried to return mine today and the MA wouldn't let me :) But honestly I probably shouldn't have let her talk me into keeping it. It is gorgeous in the pan, and it looked really different on on all the MAs working there, but there is really a LOT of glitter.....maybe some of them have less than mine? But when I look at mine it is almost crystalline in structure, like I can see each glitter particle. The overall color is quite gorgeous though...smokey grey with transparent teal sparkle.....and glitter.
Did I mention glitter?

I just used that technique to apply my Golden Gaze all over my lids, and it worked great! (Though it may be because GG is such a great quality shadow already. XD)

I finally used Quartz Fusion today. I'm slowly working my way through all the MES I bought. I started with Bamboom Paint as a base. A light application of Reward Yourself Big Bounce shadow. I applied Quartz Fusion with Fix+ & the 239 brush. I brushed it on. I keep forgetting to try the patting on method but it applied fine. I meant to use Rare Find but I somehow ended up with Faux Gold in my hand. I used the 226 brush to apply the burgundy vein of Faux Gold to the crease. Almost Noir Pearlglide liner on upper and lower lashlines. Goldstone MSF buffed all over face. Two Virtues MSB with Pearl MSF to highlight. Chanel Pleasing glossimer to finish it all off. I only went out for a few hours in this sweltering heat but nothing has budged. I'm dying to try this 235 brush!

No! I'm so sorry. I just lost my camera and it's killing me. The best I can do right now is iPhone or iPad pics and I don't think you will really see the full effect. I think I might start looking for a new camera this weekend. I need to do research first to see which features I should get. My last camera was a gift and quite complicated for me to use but I was starting to get the hang of it.
