I caved in and got clarity backup jade's fortune backup, and rose quatrz and peral MSF..... this collection totally raped my bank account but... I'm so glad I'm not into the fall collections! :D
The good thing is, most of the colors are perfect for Fall, as well as late summer, so it's not like you're going to have nothing to wear in Sept. and Oct.

I've never spent so much money at one time on makeup in my life like I did with this collection. Basically, from here on in, the only eye shadows I will even consider will be mattes, creams or weird, high tech hybrid thingies, like Big Bounce or MegaMetals. Let's see if I can hold to that :p

My counter had literally like 8 or 9 235's left. I was shocked!!!! I tried to back up GoR because I wore it today and I liked it much better than before but I got the dreaded back order email. Ahhh. Oh well.

I am really enjoying these eyeshadows. I've bought three or four of these in the past and never used them because they were either way too glittery or had too much fall out/poor color payoff, but I don't regret these shadows at all. I broke down and got faux gold first after I swatched it at a counter. After wearing it a couple of times I went ahead and ordered mineral mode and just got it yesterday. Today I'm wearing it in the inner 3rd with Patina (over nurture shadestick) on the rest of my lid and a little bit of folie in the crease. It's beautiful. It can look metallic ice pink or white depending on where I take color. I am looking forward to getting the other three I ordered. This collection has shocked me. I had absolutely no intention of buying any of them. Now I must say I didn't care for the darker based ones but I went ahead and got blue sheen after I swatched it wet. It turned into a beautiful bluish purple looking color. I use all of my mineral es wet. I love these. I can't believe it...

I got Mineral Mode, Blue Sheen and Golden Gaze in the post today, but both BS and GG are entirely black! I'm going to return them tomorrow, but I doubt they'll have any left to swap :(
Mineral Mode is pretty though!

I would just like to reaffirm that I am still 100% in love with my Rare Find, and it is SO easy for a quick neutral look. Especially when it is 4:45 am and totally dark in my room, I know I can slap this shadow on and when the sun rises I will actually look put together. Also, it looks AMAZING over Bloodline pigment and Blackground PP. Actually, it looks great over almost every color base I own....Stray Grey, Quite Natural, Artifact, etc.

In fact, as much as I love all my other Semi Precious shadows, I seem to be only reaching for Rare Find and Unsurpassable in the last few weeks.
Must get out of my rut and use HOS and Blue Sheen at least ONCE!

If you're going to return them anyhow, try scratching off a layer in a corner - they're probably not all black all the way through!

As much as I love this collection, Crystal Pink was the one that I would say can be skipped and would not be missed. It is the least unique of them all and to me is just another highlighter.

Ooh I have totally neglected Bloodline pigment. I'm definitely going to try a Rare Find/Bloodline combo. Thanks for the idiea!

I found Crystal Pink one of the more unique colors as it has a pink sheen, more wet-look than metallic, but if applied lightly, it's subtle enough to pull it off as an all-over-face highlighter. It's certainly not the most commercial one, but alongside of Goldstone, CP is on the more unique side. Having said that, for me, it was love on the second sight.

Really? I thought that Godstone and Pearl were the most unique. Rose Quartz and Crystal Pink were just so so and not super unique. Mine looks super similar to my Rose Ole.

I was concerned that is not unique enough. I have at least 3 other MSFs that are on the pinkish side , and was wondering do i need this one too?
I love Pearl, i get so many compliments when i wear it.

Pearl is 2nd fave MSF EVER!!! Petticoat is my first but Pearl is a very close second and I have yet to see anything like it on me. It has been sheer joy ever since I got it. My cheeks are happy!

You know what I mean about that dirty, metallic/wet sheen color - perfect, high-tech look on an end of summer tan. LOVE IT.

What brush do you like to use to apply it?

One of a Kind with either of those on top is just the sexiest color/texture combo so far this year from MAC. It took top spot over my previous, which was Krazy Kahuna over Bust Out (although that's a gorgeous one too).
