You know, I have a random number generator (yes Im that much of a dork) on my iphone (its an app). I randomly assign days for blush picking, lip picking, or eyeshadow picking. So, for instance... If I am in a lipstick mood, I get a number from app and coount lippies until i reach that number and I build my look from that item. You'd be surprised how much fun it is and how much you reach for stuff that would otherwise be forgotten in your stash...

that is such an amazing idea!! I'm using this asap ^_^

As a fellow geek girl, I really like this idea too! I have an OCD thang for numbers anyway.

LOL! I think that's great. I go old school- I keep a written list of ALL my stuff- shadows, blushes, lipsticks and glosses. When I wear one, I put a "tick" next to it. That way, I can scan through quickly and see what hasn't been getting love, so I can choose one and work around it. I also have a page with a colour scheme generator bookmarked. It's actually intended for graphics, but it does a nice job of finding contrasting and/ or complementary colour schemes, so I use it to get ideas for makeup as well. Yeah, this is what happens when you combine a big makeup stash and OCD.

I just want to check in to say that I have fallen in love (again) with Mineral Mode! I spend last night swatching it next to Snow Season, Fresh Ice and Hold that Pose (from Glitter & Ice) and I just want to say that Mineral mode is such a complex mixture of colors, and is literally the most "glowy" MES that I own. I love that depending on how I swatch it it can be iridescent peach, glowy cream, or a combo of the two with an opalescent green reflect. SO amazing!

I think now that it has been 6 months since the collection came out I can say that the colors I use the most often (or are irreplaceable) are Rare Find, Mineral Mode and Dark Indulgence. Weird. I mean Rare Find was a given since it is the perfect smokey-brown-purple, but Mineral Mode and Dark indulgence were a total surprise. And Golden Gaze? The one I thought would be the one I cold not live without.....I think I have used it once! (Maybe if I was not in London and not super pale it would have gotten more love...).

Well, that's it. I also felt like I needed to say something since I spent so many hours of my life freaking out over this collection and sometimes it makes me sad to watch beloved threads go quiet...... :)

I bought all except Blue Sheen. I have mostly been using Faux Gold. I have kind of forgotten about the others. Not because I don't really like them but because it is hard to give everything attention when you have a large collection. Plus, I'm trying to work on my Glitter and Ice MES. I did use Rare Find twice this week. Now I'm thinking about how to use the Glitter and Ice Paint Pots with the Semi Precious MES. I'm wondering how For Effect (charcoal paint pot) would look with Clarity (gray multi color). I think I'm going to use this one next. Actually now that I think of it, Shimmermint might work nicely with Dark Indulgence. I still haven't used Shimmermint though.

I always enjoy hearing about which ones people are still using. I have 'em all except for Blue Sheen and Smoked Ruby.

For me, when the collection came out, I used Hint of Sapphire, Clarity and Faux Gold the most. In the fall, I used Jade's Fortune and Rare Find (they both worked so well with the Evil Eye Quad) and lately I've been hitting up Golden Gaze and Quartz Fusion and need to start busting out Dark Indulgence.

The only one I haven't used much is Unsurpassable, but once spring is in the air, I think that it's going to get a lot of use. I'm only just starting to fully appreciate Mineral Mode too.

I use the MSFs pretty much daily and the lipsticks and cremesheens are in permanent rotation too - probably the most wearable colors for every day use from MAC the whole year. 'Love 'em all!

I have Blue Sheen, Clarity, Hint of Sapphire and Golden Gaze. I have not used Golden Gaze at all, it just seems difficult for me especially since I dont do many neutral or golden eyes. I like Clarity the best.
My blue sheen does have quite a lot of black so it only looks like deep truth a quarter of the time and most of the other time, like Piarpreet said, looks like dirt:(

I'll try these with the Evil Eye quad. I've only really used Moody from that quad. I really need to work in the other colors.

I should be on MES overload but I can't wait for the Naturally MES pics to show up.

Does anyone know if there are dupes of the dazzle glasses? I love the colors, natural flare, geo pink, and looks like sin, but hate that there is so little in the tube. I was going to back them up, but would rather see if inglot or chanel has something similiar.

I dunno....I get a lot of uses out of a tube of Cremesheen Glass (the semi-precious lip glosses were Cremesheens). They're pretty durable on me so I don't need to reapply them many times through the day - just after eating/drinking.

I thought the colors were quite unique in this collection, especially the three you mention. I've actually been considering backing up Looks Like Sin and Geo-Pink. I wore the heck out of those all summer and into fall, but I still have plenty left and am trying to cut down on backups, since there's always a new latest and greatest coming out, especially when it comes to Cremesheens.

I think I eat lipgloss and lipstick, b/c I've worn these sporadically and it already looks like I've used quite a bit of them. I am wearing geo pink out, more than the others.
But I was thinking that they were pretty unique, and probably couldn't find an exact dupe right awy. I am going to back them up, I know there will be something I'll love just as much later, but I realizing there are a few things I wish I had backups of since this summer.

yeah i get quite a bit of use out of my cremesheens too - sure not as much as a nromal gloss but i find i don't have to re-apply that often!

I am totally the opposite! I find that they don't last on me at all, only like 30 minutes! And they never look pigmented enough on my lips to begin with, so I have to stick to regular lipglass. I might be the only person who LOVES how sticky the regular lipglasses are, but it's because I always know when I need a new coat, without having to look in a mirror.

On that note, if anyone wants Geo Pink I have one in the box still that I only swatched 1X! And a BNIB Gem of Roses too......
