Golden Gaze is a no-brainer - but SERIOUSLY look at Unsurpassable in person first if you can. I think it's awesome, but it's pretty challenging too!
Singer82 - Jade's Fortune can be yellow or grey - so yeah, it's pretty weird, but it looked great on my eyes!

It's out at counters and stores the 7th. and one week earlier at Pro stores.

Clarity is much more of a no-brainer than Unsurpassable - you'd have to like green and periwinkle blue to love Unsurpassable, but Clarity you just have to love opalescent sparkles!

Does anyone know where I can find swatches of Jade's Fortune using the different colors? Christine's is just the dark gray, there's no yellow at all, and I'm interested to see what the yellow looks like.

Imagine a dirty acid yellow - so, light like an acid yellow, but not bright like one - it's like neon yellow on top of a medium neutral grey base.

Will do. Looks like Unsurpassable on my maybe list now. I'm glad I get to actually see these in person as I usually buy online.

Yeah yellow on my eyes kinda scares me lol. I have Going Bananas e/s and it lookes bleh on me. And I can always look for the one with the least yellow in the pan

If I had to tone it down, I'd leave out Pure Magnificence (which is like Fashion Scoop - one of my favorites - but better), Gem of Roses (close to Mehr, but easier to deal with texture), Musky Amethyst (very close to Cunning, but sheerer, which I like), Pressed Amber, Pearl, and if I had to be brutal about the shadows, I'd only keep Clarity, Golden Gaze, Mineral Mode and pick one from the rest of my full list, probably Jade's Fortune.

I think I'll just wind up buying in 2 batches and still getting all the shadows I like and just be very limited about whatever else I consider for Fall. In L.A., you can wear MES year round without looking out of season - especially these colors.

What does Pure Magnificence gloss look like?

Pure Magnificence is like Fashion Scoop cremesheen glass, but with less milky white and a touch greyed instead, same lightness and good coverage. I'm almost through with my tube of Fashion Scoop, so I wanted this one, but damn my list is way too huge - I really can't justify spending that much all at once on makeup durrr. Sure is tempting though!

I'm actually printing all of your reviews and taking them to Vegas with me, It's really going to help.

Wow, hon....you're making me feel like I gave you a tiny wedding present!

Just look for veins on one half of the pan for any of the marbleized colors and that'll be the best way to get one where colors will be easy to mix or keep separate.

So the semi-precious collex kept appearing and disappearing from the pro site. And could only access it if i clicked the link from the macpro site.... no clue WTH!

Anyways i got all MES: golden glaze, blue sheen, hint of sapphire, smoked ruby, and dark indulgence. Lets see how they work. My first MES ever....

I have the strange feeling that I wont like most of them....
