Picked up my KYY after work, all lippies were gone and refresh, interestingly. Tried DG on and I love it, can't wait for mine to arrive tomorrow. One thing of note -- I can't remember which specktrette was saying her CB was glittery, but the tester at my nordstrom was also very glittery!!! I swatched it and couldn't believe it. Obvious pieces of glitter. Now I'm wishing I would have walked over to the Mac counter at macys to compare but I didn't. No one else is mentioning glitter so that's an interesting quality control issue. Although most ladies don't seem to be into drugstore products on here, I did swatch KYY next to Maybellines fuschia flash from the vivids line. KYY is ever so slightly less cool, more muted and ultimately a bit more wearable for daytime and office. Both great shades.

KYY on left, fuschia flash right on hand Glad so many people are having success today. My nordstrom said they received 9'dodgy girls and it wasn't too crazy in the morning but I know they were sold out of it at least 30 min in when I called to order myself. Yay goodies!!! :nanas:

Its fabulous and the big Island is the most affordable for living, its worth it, I plan to make it home and once I am finally settled Im never coming back to the mainland!

First swatch of DG. I definitely will be getting a purple lip liner to bring the purple tone out, but I it! So glad i got a backup. It applied so smoothly and only needed one swipe. Please excuse my hair i let it air dry today!

I quit smoking about 3 years ago and still want one every time I'm in the car or having drinks socially. hboy: I did have a bit of a relapse a few weeks ago when the wine wasn't cutting it and I thought I was gonna go insane, went up to the store, bought a pack, took three drags, became disgusted and threw that entire pack in the trash. Lol. I did have an e-cig and found it helped a lot with that need for hand to mouth, even with it being nicotine free "juice" in it, but I lost it and never replaced it. I also found gum and hard candies to be of help. Best of luck to all that are quitting! Also, I agree with Erin on the pot thing.In the words of Peter Tosh "Legalize it, doesn't criticize it." :haha:

Nope. Tracking and delivery confirmation are free from USPS. I just sent two packages this week from inside the post office, one standard delivery and one priority mail. Both have the tracking number printed on the receipt. Type in the number on the USPS app, track it for free, and it shows when they've been delivered. For free.

I would contact corporate, I doubt they didnt receive those lipsticks. A makeup artist told me the employees arent allowed to purchase from the collections for 2 weeks. Even after I bought my stuff today a woman from another makeup counter was trying to purchase all the lipsticks while she was on the job, smh not fair.

well i heard that they cant purchase the items from new collections until its been out two weeks. im not sure how true that is or if they can purchase it still without a employee disc.

Not true. In the 6.5 years i worked at MAC, employees were never required to wait to purchase from new collections. They were able to purchase the minute the collection launched online, and the day they released in store. In the 1.5 years I've been gone, the only collection that they've been required to wait to purchase from was the first RWW launch.

Does anyone know if the stores will be getting anymore in?

Hope everyone isn't tired of looking at swatches yet! Thought I'd throw my pics up so the darker-skinned Specktrettes can get an idea of what what it looks like on their skin tone. The only makeup I'm wearing in this photo is eyeliner and mascara...heat, humidity, makeup and I don't get along so I only wear a full face when I absolutely have to once summer hits! Also, pardon my tired, shiny face and goofy expressions, lol! All pics are indoors with only natural light.  Dodgy Girl. I didn't think I'd like this one but all the pretty pics I saw of it made me want to get it, and I'm glad I did! I don't care if the colour isn't the most flattering as it's absolutely beautiful and applies like a dream.  Cranberry. Love the colour, HATE the application, which I found to be very dry and draggy (ya, I realize that isn't a word, lol). It could be just me though because all the reviews I've read describe it as creamy. My lips are very sensitive and filling them in with lip pencils is always uncomfortable for me.  Cranberry + Bijou =    Bijou on its own. It's a VERY pretty colour...I'm not a gloss person but I'm sure I'll wear this one to the ground!  Patentpink. This looked soooo pretty when swatched on my hand in store but I don't know how I feel about it on my lips; I think it's verging on tacky territory for me.  Kelly Yum Yum! I LOVE this so much! I should have gotten a BU but honestly, it's probably best I didn't as I don't think the colour is THAT unique. But it is super gorgeous! 

I love ALL of those colors on you, especially Bijou and KYY. Helps that you're already beautiful, but still, they just really work.

When I tried on DG, it reminded me of Blooming Lovely from the Liberty of London collection. But when I swatched them I noticed that DG was a deeper lavender. I can honestly say I have nothing like it in my collection.

Hmmm... then that could definitely explain why a lot of lipsticks went MIA today, im sure a lot of them were holding products for themselves. Although someone told me the artists receive some gratis for new collections just not in the special packaging??

Well...I thought the $30 MAC lipsticks were ridiculous, I just went looking for the NYX Macaron lipsticks on ebay and somebody is selling them for $560 each...please tell me that is so kind of error, because I just don't know what to say...

Maybe they meant $5.60 each...but evilbay $$$ are ridiculous I've seen $200 MAC lipsticks $249 MAC WoG...SMMFH!!!

True. Mac wants their MUAs to wear their product. Helps sell when 1) a customer can ask about the wear, pigmentation, etc of a product and receive an honest answer 2) a customer sees a product they might not normally buy on and think "I could rock that..."

Possibly. Yes, they receive gratis for collections, tho i do know that they weren't receiving it for this collection.
