What balm and what primer are you using?

Some random "natural" lip balm I think I got one month in my Birchbox, MAC PnP, and then filled in with clear Maybelline l/l. Dabbing the lipstick on helped, but still looks cracked.

I told myself that I wouldn't give in and buy something from this collection (mostly cause I went a little crazy on the alluring aquatics collection)...needless to say I found myself at the Mac store buying Kelly Yum Yum and a few other goodies.
