lolthat is very decent price.
If it is I'm gonna buy a thousand BU's.KYY?
Okay, you've got me curious. How much do they actually cost to produce?lol not if you knew how much they actually cost to produce.
I'd love to know this too. How much are we being ripped off? LolOkay, you've got me curious. How much do they actually cost to produce?lol not if you knew how much they actually cost to produce.
Would you guess it costs the major companies somewhere around .50- .75 cents per piece to make this? The cost of a pan (no casing) blush is under $ 3.00 Retail... and that's high.. lol. In bulk, or major quantities it goes down considerably. The ingredients are all the same for HE or DS or indie brands.. it's in the composition, the marketing, advertising, and Branding, etc where the money is spent.
I was hoping so! thanks babe! She's wearing Riot House.
So it costs less than $3 to make and I'm stupid enough to spend $17 on one item? I need shot in the face. That's insanity. Maybe it will help curb my spending knowing just how much they're making off me in profits. The cost of a pan (no casing) blush is under $ 3.00 Retail... and that's high.. lol. Nope. Join the stalking partySo basically I will not be sleeping or leaving my computer through May and June
Well I meant in real world compared to retail prices we have to pay. I know their cost are super small but I guess they have to make tons of money.lol
not if you knew how much they actually cost to produce.
Yes, indie makeup is more comparable to drugstore prices but I think the quality is great. Granted most products like eyeshadow and blush are loose. You can press them yourself if you want depending on what the ingredients are (can't usually press mattes or shades with ultramarines) and the range of shades is ENORMOUS. The only non-indie eyeshadow I have bought has been the UD Vice 2 palette, which I felt was worth the money for 20 good quality shadows. I haven't dabbled much into indie blush yet, mostly because I am just starting to wear blush, but I've heard good things about most companies with blush.is indie makeup cheap?. i buy polishes and they arent.
no, not for HE companies.. the costs for production are higher. But yes for DS and indie brands. Remember too, they have to make a profit. I am referring to net costs for production for retail sales.Would you guess it costs the major companies somewhere around .50- .75 cents per piece to make this?
That's most things we pay for these days. You think makeup is bad.. Ha people should take a look at their wedding ring...talk about making a profit. But hey we buy what we want. Most things cost a fraction to produce.lol not if you knew how much they actually cost to produce.
Same here!!If it is I'm gonna buy a thousand BU's.
This goes for everything in life. Shoes, cars, phones, and the biggest one of all.......pharmaceuticals!The cost of a pan (no casing) blush is under $ 3.00 Retail... and that's high.. lol. In bulk, or major quantities it goes down considerably. Most are locked away in safes to keep the value up, mostly by a group established by the De Beers family. I had to research them once for a business project.....most scary monopoly ever lolMost things cost a fraction to produce.
