So far, these swatches of Cinestyle look the way I <3 U plushglass looks on me - maybe a tiny touch less milky. Considering I <3 U is one of my favorite glosses (especially for spring), chances are I'm gonna be getting it, although I've got backups of I <3 U already.

Next Thurs. is going to be incredibly expensive - shockingly so!

Get Restores Dazzle instead. The close is close and the texture is really amazing.

^^Maybe it's because it's swatched heavily? I don't think you would put it on your cheeks as thick as she has it on her hands!

I don't think it's too dry, at least not drier than any other matte and bright p/b. You want to use it with a firmer, angled brush, like the 169. Dab off excess powder from the brush before apply and place the brush where you want the most color. I can see running into trouble using a 116, 109, or even 168. The 116 and 109 are too flimsy whereas the 168 will be too soft to blend out a matte finish.

I agree with T on the color though, it's a lovely berry color rather than magenta. IMO, it's a great color for Spring and Fall (maybe even more for Fall).

At first glance Star Quality reminds me of Sonoran Rain l/g without the sparkles.

Thanks, Mac-Guy. I don't know what brush T used, but she was having problems blending it. I'm very pale, so would want to be able to blend it out very well indeed

With all my respect, but I really wish she would put in more effort before making grand statements that a product is not working.

There are different tools and techniques available for very good reasons.


I absolutely adore this color. My only regret is the name. Magenta, really? That's it? Use something more exciting, especially when the result does not even comes close to magenta. I will secretly rename this blush Berry Extract.

Is the 169 discontinued, or is it a Pro only brush? I can't see it on the MAC UK website

When it comes to angled face brushes, I only have the 168 and 162

I just got my order, which was only the Resort eye khol. I didn’t order it with my first order because I already have it. But after seeing Allura swatches, it looked very different. Humm.. just swatched it on my skin, don’t have the old one with me right now, but it looks very similar. Now I have 2 that I won’t use. lol

It was LE, but it has been repromoted if I remember correctly. It's synthetic and more angled than the 168. It's wasn't a Pro brush.

Me too. I have Blooming Lovely, Lavender Whip and Fashion Mews and those look a lot prettier.
