I'd agree except that the first thing you see when you look at this is the Stud pencil - which is one of what they are selling

I think they have very cleverly highlighted the pencil, even if the brow itself is a complete mess.

If the average person wore that, yes. But, the MAC trend promos are always kind of outrageous and never really that wearable.

The look may not go over well in day to day life for your average person, but the MAC S/S trends are artistic interpretations of the seasons high fashion/makeup.

Like the couture that is the high art of the season's fashions, a lot of these MAC S/S looks are meant to be a more extreme vision. You and I would most likely tweak it a bit to fit our lives, while still keeping the essence. Basically what happens to couture looks as they are watered down to appeal to the masses via retail.

I would say that this look, when translated for the average consumer, is to be interpreted as don't be afraid to emphasize the brow. Make it bold. Whether it is increasing the arch or the fullness of the brow. As this trend is under "Artifice" I would say that they want your brow to make a statement. It doesn't have to be natural, but it must be well excuted.
