seriously i have 3 kohl powers and 4 ud 24/7 liners. for longevity I'd totally stick with UD's 24/7's! I tried kohl powers as my first liner from mac (upgrading from covergirl i tried) and it was alright, they were smooth to apply and worked well for me. when i want to take them off, they come off lickedy split fast when washing my face.

but for UD....wow these have amazing staying power! i love them! and put them on my waterline (as kohl power doesn't stay) and actually had problems taking it off (my purple mac eye makeup remover didn't take it off, so i had to use a diff. remover).

5 stars for ud liners! (id stick with those over kohls or any mac liners for that matter, personal opinion)

Done and done. That saves me a ton of money right there, because I use Zero and it LASTS. I get decent staying power using the Zero SHADOW (yes the shadow) on my waterline so I guess I can stick with what I like!

I agree about the liners. They smudge WAY too easily. The only way I can wear them is if it's over Blacktrack fluidline. I had all of them, and sold off all but Jealous. It money allows, I might get Raven because it is a beautiful color. I don't wear Jealous often, but it's worth the extra effort with the fluidline with certain looks.

I am trying to have with this collection, and I want to limit myself to 4 shadows. So far it looks like:
-Lotusland
-Top Hat
-Mink and Sable
-Smoke and Diamonds

Others in the running are:
-Grand Enterance
-Talent Pool
-STar by Night

I'm jumping on the bandwagon for Lotusland! It looks like such a lovely color! And I'm also really feeling Sunet B. and Mink and Sable. The other ones all look really pretty, but I'm not sure if I would actually wear them all that often.

Hi all,

I'm looking for a little advice on the kohl powers. I'm really interested in these eyeliners but i'm not sure if they will suit my eyeshape. I have the kind of eyelids that if I wear some pencil eyeliners and all liquid liners I have to wait ages on them drying before I open my eyelids normally or else the liner will end up in my crease if you know what I mean. Will this be a problem with the kohl powers? I so could people let me know as I'd hate to waste money on them my eyeshadow addiction is putting me in the poor house as it is lol.

They do they on me if I wear them without fluidline underneath. They are SUPER soft and smudge VERY easily. If you want to try them, I say pick your one favorite, and try it out and see how you like it before buying all of them. If it works for you, then go back and get the others you like

i agree with audrey. these aren't smudgeproof or longwearing, so you might just wanna try one and see how it goes from there. i like them for my waterline especially. i also use feline as my top liner and have no problems with them transferring or running, but that's just cause of my eyeshape.

Strangely enough, I have no problems with Kohl Powers smudging from my top lash line - it is strange because I have extremely oily lids so you'd think it'd be Smudge City on me. However, they do smudge on the lower lash line.

So lucky! but eyeshape is such a big factor in whether your eyeliner will smudge or not. Because I have Asian shaped eyes, no eyeliner will stay on me, but my friend with GORGEOUS Romanian eyes always has perfect eyeliner (cheap too) I might add! I HAVE to use fluidline.

Fluidlines seem to be the only eyeliner that work on my eyes too, but i'm gonna get raven and give it a go, hopefully if all goes well all the khol powers will be mine

is anyone else's counter having the classes where they teach you to apply makeup for whatever look you want to do for free...i happened to notice it's around when this collection comes out i guess. it's in august which is awhile away but i signed up. YAY!! lol. it'll be nice to improve my technique.

^^I think they charge $50 for those classes. Or at least you have to purchase at least that amount in product. I went to one a few months ago and loved it!

the MA i was talking to said they only have these types of classes two times a year and they are free. lol. eh...i dont have a problem spending $50 for a lesson though. haha!! i'll have to call back and check.

I am so anxious to see swatches of these! I am trying to budget for July and it's tough not knowing what these will be like. I could *easily* spend my entire monthly budget on Sonic Chic and Electroflash, but I know I will want some of these shadows too. Just how many is the question...

i will (probably) completly pass on (better for other collections)*lol*
i like more bright colors....so i keep waiting for something like c-shock from last year (i pass that)....

for sonic chic.....i just own 2 blushes...so thats the perfect excuse to get 3 instead of 2.....

If this collection were by it's self, I'd probably be more excited for it. In the midst of so many other exciting collections, it gets kind of lost. I'll be skipping this one (most likely).

you're not the only one...im passing up this collection as well. im not really feeling it. other better collections are coming out so im just trying to budget for other things i want.
