Woo-hoo! I don't know if I can wait for Adina's review but I am going to try. I so wish I had a pro store close. I love all MAC but nothing makes me happier than new eye shadows!!

I agree that they have a very creamy texture. They are gorgeous!!

Wow. I'm kinda in shock at how much some of these look like already existing colors. It's hard to tell the difference in some of the swatches. I might be able to pare down my list a bit....

OK Ladies, here we go:

General Comments First:
This collection is definitely made up of a great mix of colors. Something to please everyone from neutrals to brights.

The texture of these is interesting. It has a satiny feel to them with a subtle sheen, but they aren't glittery at all. They are frosty and beautiful. They can be powdery and the kind of brush you use can make a huge difference in the color you get.

Best base for these are creamy paint pots for sure. Some of the colors can be quite complex while others are a bit more basic.

Dreammaker - A beautiful sunny yellow/gold. Reminds me of a more yellow rose blanc. Gorgeous for highlighting

Grand Entrance - A beautiful shimmering peach cream. Another gorgeous neutral in this collection that will be great with a matte or eyeshadow with less shimmer in the crease

Bold & Brazen - I called this the icky poo color. I am not a fan of orangey bronzes. Copper and me don't mix.

Sunset B. - A very playful pink with some rose and mauve thrown in. So fun!!

Lotusland - A lavender that is more pink than purple. I think it might be difficult for some to pull of, but i loved it next to talent pool!

Talent Pool - A beautiful teal green with blue in it. Reminded me of waternymph but in blue

Mink & Sable - Sumptuous olive but better. Beautiful rich mix of olive golden and brown

Smoke & Diamonds - LOVE LOVE LOVE this color. This will make the hottest smokey eye. I can't get over how beautiful this is. Truly like sweet sienna with a bit more complexity and depth. Ugh, gorgeous!

Go - A lovely rich shade of bronze. Still captures the essence of the summer bronze trend.

Glamour Check! - Didn't expect to love this but I did! It is a gorgeous rusty brown with red undertones. It is such a rich beautiful color

Top Hat - This one reminds me of fertile from strange hybrid. It is a beautiful deep purple with a reddish pink undertone that is especially visible when you sheer it out.

Star by Night - This IS deep truth only less complex and not as frosty as deep truth. I didn't get this because I have deep truth

Well based on the reviews I think I am going to have to get Talent Pool, Dreammaker, Grand Entrance, and Smoke & Diamonds for sure! Thank you SOOOO much Adina!

I totally was refreshing just because I am dying to hear about these shadows. I need something to keep my mind off the fact that I can't get these for another week!

Do you feel like these colors are dupable? Is the finish really that great? I am sure I am going to have a ton more questions. Off to look at swatches!

I am going to be honest, some of these are probably pretty dupable. I already skipped out on star by night since I have deep truth and i am sure if i had more of the perm shadows i would have skipped on more.

The texture I think is what you can get excited about. I found them very soft and silky

Warning, if you use natural brushes you might get some fall out

In your review you didn't seem too excited with Star by Night. This was one of the colors I was looking forward to because this type of blue color is missing in my collection. I don't have Deep Truth. Between SbN and DT which would you recommend?

Also, could you compare Grand Entrance to Naked Lunch?

Star by night is beautiful, but i definitely think that deep truth has more shine and depth. It all depends on what texture you like better. Both the mua and i preferred deep truth
In regards to grand entrance, I find it more peach than naked lunch. Definitely a neutral worth getting!

Nope, talent pool is deeper more blue whereas mood ring is more sky bly. Mood ring is also more glittery

Swatches are up btw. No base on them but I do recommend top hat with artifact, birchwood ccb with smoke and diamonds, and nice vice with talent pool

I want Smoke & Diamonds, Mink & Sable, Go!, Grand Entrance and Talent Pool.
Still considering Sunset B., Glamour Check and Dreammaker.

I can't pull of Lotusland, with its pinkish purple tone. It will make me look like I have an eye infection. So can I pull off Sunset B.? It looks the nicest shade of pink.

If I have Femme-fi from Neo Sci-fi, should I get Dreammaker?

Thank you so much Adina! I am wondering how Sunset B, Lotusland and Top Hat compare with the similar colors in the Holiday 2007 cool eyes palette? If I don't care for the pinky purpleness of Creme de Violet, should I skip Lotusland? Is Grand Entrance anything like Shore Leave? Dreammaker like Gold Dust Pigment at all?

So far, I am holding at Smoke and Diamonds, Top Hat and Talent Pool
