i love talent pool which i bought last year! over delft paint pot it looks amazing! sunset b on the other hand i barely used. too sheer on me and it turns out that paler pink eyeshadows make me look like poop!

I love Lotusland and Sunset B. together! My fave pink - light violet combo.

I also still have Top Hat, Talent Pool and Dreammaker - they are all gorgeous in shade and finish!

^Really? I wish that all of the Starflash e/s besides Glamour Check!, Grand Entrance, Dreammaker and Smoke & Diamonds would get repromoted so that I can get Lotusland, Talent Pool and Top Hat. I almost bought them last year and was sad that they were gone already.

I only have Top Hat from Starflash. The texture is absolutely AMAZING.

I'm not too excited about the new Starflash shadows. Just Rated R and Ego. I just find these shadows don't wear as well as most of MAC's other e/s, but they are really smooth and blendable.

It's perfect that this comes out on August 20. I was thinking the colors would look perfect for fall and winter. Now I have to read back and see what everyone's said about this collection.

stv578, do you mean they fade/disappear after a short while?

They are more prone to slipping into the crease or fading. They definitely need a good base. And some of the shades were quite sheer. Such a shame really, because they apply so well.

^Same here! I might have to order about 2 or 3 more Pro Eyeshadow Palettes for the Starflash eyeshadows that I'm going to keep them seprate from the other eyeshadows.

Yeah my Smoke and Diamonds rocks on me and I have oily eyelids but I do use Urban Decay Primer Potion for it to stick for 12 hours so yeah, I love the textures of them too.

LOL! Maybe it's just me then! But as much as I loved them, I found myself reaching for them less. Sunset B was the worst, i now use that over Pincurl or Et Tu Bouquet to make it more 'pink'. And I think it was Go, the one close to Tempting, which I adored, but now I just stick with Tempting.

are we sure that these are all starflash finish and not just a very repromtes with another finish?
I hope they're starflash, but sometimes i do have problems with the finish. I find that grand entrance doesnt like to stick. Lotus land is gorgeous in the pan, but just wont show up on me!
