I'm not going to lie, I used to do that a long time ago. I don't anymore because I'm a nail polish fanatic and have definitely learned my lesson. But honestly, lots of people go to nail salons and they use the polishes over and over again so what's the difference? That's part of the reason I don't really get pedicures!
The difference for me is that when I'm purchasing polish from a store, I'm expecting to get an unused, unopened bottle. Going to a salon, I know I'm using polish that was used on others unless I bring my own. Plus, I'm paying for the service of the mani/pedi, not the polish.

i like how they have swatched nail fans at sallys beauty supply and the polishes are in the front so no crazies opening the bottles!! i hate how at tjmaxx people open everything, they even steal stuff of the perfumes sets

I just went and had my nails done for the first time in 15 years, and i was NOT impressed with the polishes there. Next time, I'm definitely taking my own. Hell, i came home and redid the polish anyway. Might as well save the painting time and just paint it myself!

I always bring my own!! Especially because you want to have the polish available if your mani/pedi chips

oh my god! thanks I wish I saw this earlier I'll have to call them tomorrow and see! thanks :D
I think the MAC store on Collins still has the blush you're looking for. Since they moved the Pro store to Lincoln Rd most people have forgotten that the store on Collins exists. I was able to get Party Parrot there after most places had sold out. Give them a call. If you find it I'm sure you can just run in and pick it up instead of having it shipped.

Do you think they'll still restock online? Or should I try to locate my BU of PiPi and PaPa elsewhere?
I emailed MAC about the re-stock of the blushes (I didn't buy the lipsticks from this collection). The email said quite clearly NO restock of the blushes online. I'd definitely get those lipsticks from a store (some ppl have posted some locations with good stock in this thread, but otherwise just call around). I wouldn't wait long, knowing how popular those lipstick colors are.

Yesterday, I got Absolute Power and Party Parrot in the mail. I also got Pink Pigeon at my local MAC store after Christmas. I can't wait to try them all. They're bright and beautiful.

Prettykitty absolutely stunning as usual! I am sooooo glad I broke my no buy for Absolute Power!!! Its awesomesauce. It turned out a pinky red on me. I was afraid it would be too close to Ruffian Red, but it's def different. RR is more of a bright cherry red. I tried it with Magenta liner and it brought out more of the pink in it :cloud9:

I googled the models name and she looks way better than that promo pic. What really throws me off in that pic isnt the muscles. Its that awful gargabe bag dress lol

I know, she really is gorgeous in the pics I googled. I too am not fond of the dress, but love to see that mac took a different approach with this collection and stepped out of the box. As a mother to 3 beautiful girls, I want them to see that women REALLY do come in all shapes and sizes and that we are all BEAUTIFUL!

off topic a bit...
not sure if it's been brought up yet. I tried my AP,pi pi, & pa pa lippies and find I get a lot of red or pink staining after I remove them. Like they are SUPER pigmented. Anyone else experience this?
