It didn't look plummy on me either. It was more of a cool, super dark greyish brown on me. The gold softened the effect quite a bit, so the result wasn't harsh or anything. I paired it with UD YDK and Secret Service on the eyes, with a bit of Creamy Bisque in the inner corner. It seemed to work but I'm going to try a matte eye next time.

I love the idea of adding a bit of lipgloss! I wonder how Flight of Fancy will work...

I'm not sure what can help with Prep+Prime Lip. The same thing normally happens when I use my NYX pencils with it, not so much with the MAC pencils. I think it's because the NYX pencils have a softer/creamier texture. I just keep applying until the color shows up. Maybe blotting Prep+Prime Lip with a tissue will help.

I was playing around with my permanent lippies when I layered Up the Amp over Violetta it looked very similar to Strong Woman. I might just start wearing that instead of depleting my SW since I didn't get a backup of it. lol maybe when they repromote it again!
