I am still thinking about the MAC Vid on SB and was hoping to find a dupe for Nightmoth...but I found one for Vino l/l instead...so if anyone does not have Vino...I got this NYX LPL10 Deep Purple lip pencil and it is almost exact to Vino..but it may work with Night Violet...I will have to try

Since NV is the only item I was thinking of returning I will probably keep it. I can sheer it out and make it a stain, I guess. i don't think I can do that with the Urban Decay lippie especially since it's so rich and glossy. Thanks for the idea elegant-one. If all else fails, I'll just give it to my friend. She loves to take in my rejects. LOL

I'm really sorry you were let go especially if it happened due to your pregnancy.
It's a terrible thing to have happened but from the sound of it they're a bunch of bastards anyways and you'll probably be better of without them. I hope you find something better soon. Oh and please don't punish yourself by skipping anything you want from Style Black just because of this job loss, you shouldn't have to suffer because of those idiots, in fact, what better time to compensate yourself!

Yeah I didn't drink or smoke or do anything else before I was pregnant so I def wouldn't chance it now.
I can't wait to go and check out everything tomorrow, obviously I won't get as much as I planned before but I know I have to get something, plus I like to go see the display even when I don't want anything at all

I just remembered b/c of pdtb that when I went to get my style black today there was a HUGE book with glossy colored photos of different looks in the front of the display. It was on a little table that looked like it was made into the counter. Oh how I wanted that book. I've never stolen a thing in my life, but if I was ever tempted it was today. LOL it was sooo gorgeous.

Erine, way back you told us this lipstick in the promo pic was Brave...and (I think in some other thread) mentioned it again recently. Do you know what else they did in terms of maybe liner or gloss to make Brave look this good (it actually looks alot better on the MAC web site) or do I just have to steal this model's lips to make it look like this?!

I know that erine posted that there was another pic in the stands that had Angel , but I'm not sure what pic she was referring to.
All I'm saying is that pic above is what the MA pulled out & told me.
I used Angel & it is a paler pink (but I guess it could change with a pencil or gloss) But when I sheered out NV - & pretty sheer - it looks that exact color whereas Angel does not.
Also, I would assume - maybe I'm wrong, but if its called Style Black & thats the promo pic, wouldn't they refer to that in the SB face chart?

So I got the GPS, I wish the glitter was more there and I am a bit disapointed in retrospect but I am keeping it. I don't return makeup. It mostly just looks black to me and I want more sparkle. The MM Mattene which I love, but I also love the Black Knight. Skipped NV. I have never actually gotten any of the 'glasses' before but I totally love the blackfire and am tempted to get the other two. I find the gooeiness a little odd but love the look.
The real WIN for me though are the MES. I dearly love all 4, though I think Blue Flame is my favorite. Now if they'd make MES exactly like these but in teal and a deep purple I could die happy.

I would totally have the full-on unseelie thing if I had the two 'missing colours'.

Thanks girl....I see that now and I still don't see Brave l/s in that picture LOL .....Lord knows no matter how smart I think I am I cannot keep up with everything that is duscussed from 90+ pages...so people will get frustrated at me and have to get the hell over it..I will ask until I get the answer...sorry Charlies...

Well, I'm crazy if its Angel or Brave - neither looks like the color in the promo on me - only NV.
I just tried it again & yep NV looks exactly like the promo - you have to use it super super sheer. I also tried it with Flusterose like it says in the face chart & it adds a lil more pink to it, By I prefer just the sheer NV - I could wear this everyday I love the color so much - but thats just me
