MAC - Style Black Discussion

Okay so I'm SOOOO late to this board... but I stopped off at MAC on my way home from school (praying that it wouldn't be totally sold out...) I'd been waiting on this collection forever... and it was SO WORTH THE WAIT.

Tonight I picked up:
Black Knight - Creamy true black l/s
Midnight Media - Dense matte black l/s (mattene)
Bling Black - Sheer black with gold pearl (g/g)
Blackware - Creamy true black (g/g)
Cinderfella - Black with silver pearl e/s
Gilt by Association - Black with gold bronze pearl e/s
Blue Flame - Black with blue pearl e/s

...The first mineralize e/s that ever caught my eye. They're just so sparkly...even without a base.

And...and I let the MA try a black lip on me and rocked it all the way home.

So totally worth it. I can't say anything bad about this collection.

P.S. Cinderfella is Black Tied all grown up.

I love the GPS because it's so soft and black and doesn't budge one bit!!

I cannot wait to try GBA over Antique Gold CCB - I actually already have that one, so I don't hafta run out and spend more money I don't have!!

I was tempted to buy black knight today especially since the tester was pretty much in tact. The ones from other locations were all melted and NASTY. I'm afraid it will sink into every line in my full lips. I may have to cave and try it on in the store over the weekend perhaps. Ugh.

^^ If I add up everything in my cart it would top $400 easily. It's giving me gray hairs before my time. So much I want, but too little money. Every week I'm stressing over what I need RIGHT now and what can wait, but with makeup I feel like I need EVERYTHING right now. I swear after Dsquared I am DONE. Then, I can go back and buy shadows and brushes. If it wasn't for all these darn collections, I would have my stash current by now.

I want plenty, too. I have blushes that I need in my life, Fresco Rose and Blackground p/p. But I feel like I can wait on those.

But really, I am hoping for another F&F sale. Is that too much to wish for x-mas?

Oh, I hope they do that F&F holiday sale...I would feel so much less bad about buying two palettes. And I'm dying to know what color that Dream l/s (in the l/s dazzleglass set) is...'cuz if it's a pale pink, my ass is all over that shizz!!

Face2Mac I was really wrong...they are shiney and pretty but once you put them over a CCb they are so finally milled that they are not glitter bombs at all...as you can see by my swatch...and that was dry...not foiled with fix+...they are more glittery when they are foiled IMO..I wont wear them that way...not my thing

I never took advantage of the F&F sales. I never needed to, but boy do I pray for one now.
