MAC - Style Black Discussion

There really wasn't a lot of fall-out with them. I am actually surprised. I had pick up a few stragglers but wasn't a lot to what I have seen with MES.

Yeah, it is a good thing, I only have 1. I don't go out much to wearing this, but it is oh so pretty.
I'm going with my sister to the movies tommorrow at night, so will break it out then.

Love the GPS. I had enough time to blend it, it is a matte finish, so I like that.

OMG this collection is off the chain. Also I think this is the second one that I have bought most of the collection

Anyway this is some of the stuff I bought:

Young Punk MES (I lost my virginity for MES. lol)
Bat Black CCB (goes perfectly with young punk)
Volcanic Ash Exfoliator
Volcanic Ash Thermal Mask (its awesome)
Night Violet (bought 1st before everything else a little while back)
Blackfire g/g
Blackware g/g

When I got home that night I tried on the bat black ccb and I thought it was gonna look bad on me but it didnt. I left that on and sprayed some fix + on my brush and applied young punk it looks really nice. I just have to play around with it more to see what works since Im not an e/s kinda girl lol. But they're definite keepers.
I also tried on the thermal mask and its amazing when I washed it off I was like, "Hey where did my pores go, what happened to them?" LMAO its that good. I'd say better than the exfoliator. So I might just go back and exchange it for another thermal mask. Let's see.
I even tried on Night Violet with Blackware again and it looks sick. I luv it. I'll be rocking this one soon. I just have to make sure that I only apply a thin coat of the g/g over NV cuz then it'll feel slippery.

Oh and I also bought from that other collection Trend f/w 09 (but this was a little while back)

I had to get it cuz the combination of the two is to die for and it can pass of as almost black on me.

So yeah I wont be buying MAC for a while cuz we're getting a house and I have enough makeup to last me a loooooong time.

P.S I tried on the lip combinations and I'll be posting FOTD's pics soon. I just need the time. So bear with me.

I just saw the advertisement for Arbor Mist Wine. They are selling wine on Specktra, me wonders where they get the idea that we drink around here.

lol i think just specktra alone you guys sold out the VAE in the US site .... i wonder how much VAE and thermal masks adds up on specktra from every1

To be honest ...Just IMO...I think the Sold Out thing is a total Marketing Tool to make Consumers freak out and buy more....They always do that and then a few days later after everyone is freaking out and scrambling everywhere to find items they put it back on the Website...Just like the VAE/VATM is now....and it's funny how it sold out immediately at 1st launch..yet it has been hanging tough on both the reg and pro websites for over a week now without a sell out...as with the Baby Goth Girl, the black lippie etc...the only thing I see that has remained consistent with sell out it Young Punk...

They also did that with St. Germain, Costa Chic now that crap is on the website with no triangle at all....

Too bad they did not do that with Lavender Whip however

Every time I wear one of them, I decide that it is my favorite. Then I wear another one the next day and that is my favorite. Yesterday, Blue Flame was the best shadow ever. Today I think it will be Young Punk.

You are SOOOO right. I noticed that too.
And it works. Once it gets sold out everyone scrambles like chickens with their heads cut off.....and then POOF its back on the website.

My first experience with this was back when Mutiny pigment came out. I bought it because of all the hype, it was sold out and I felt like a pageant winner because I'd scored one. Then POOF there is comes back on the MAC site and it was there forever. Like weeks and weeks.
Funny, because I really didnt even like the color after I got it. LOL.

The hype of blogs, websites and forums just sucks us in. We're doomed from the beginning. ha ha

If that damn VAE is still for sale on the site on Tuesday I know I won't be able to avoid ordering more. The VATM is growing on me (which I hate). I have other masks that I thought I liked more...but after using the VATM twice I switched back to another mask and I didn't enjoy it as much as I have in the past. WTF?!?

Same here...especially after my dh just left and he kept kissing me on my check and I said STOP IT>..he said but your skin just feels so soft and smooth...

hello girls , do you think the thermal mask will be good for pores , i dont have huge pores but noticeable ... i just used the queen helene mask yesterday and its quite good . am wondering if i shud try this mask on ? how has it benefitted everyone ?

I know but I am holding tough til Tuesday...if they are there when i order my two Boy Baits I will be FORCED to grab a couple more....SIMPLY FORCED!!!! I am not going back in to the store because that dooms me and I want to not buy makeup just because I see it...But I will get my Boy Bait on Tuesday or whatever date it releases online and I hate to say it I pray they are sold out!

^^Maybe it's because my skin is super dupper dry or my application who knows...But I had fallout when I applied them dry ...there were even sparkles on my nose LOL
