MAC - Style Black Discussion

The shadows look very flaky and crap quality to me. Hopefully, I am wrong though.

Honestly, the only thing that I am super excited is the volcanic exfoliator. Ill check out the lipglosses and nail-polish. But I won't be wearing any black lipstick. lol

i think that alot of the mes look flakey and funny but most apply very well. and i'm sure Erine said that they swatched very well.... here's hopinmg anyways!

yeah, i'm LOVING these MES in the pan, but they look super chunky when swatched that i've seen. i'm hoping that's some kind of optical illusion though, because these could be really banging.

^^Using it wet or with Fix+ will probably help like with most MES.

^agreed! i HAVE to use fix+ with all mes! otherwise they go on kinda funny!

These mes look very different than the others though. Much more glitter chunky, but hopefully they will stay on with fix+ because I can't stand when I have something in my eye!

I'm gonna give these MES a chance even though I absolutely hate MES's in general. It's still far too early to tell what their quality is like. I've bought and returned MES 3 times already (within 2 years) and I don't want to repeat my mistake again. The blue, purple and gold MES look really yummy though I must admit

Is this supposed to be the fall collection? Cult of Cherry blows this away. Maybe it's just me but nothing here is really jumping out at me as a must have. Most it looks dupable.

I'm really excited about this collection. I know nothing is that orginal..there are other lines with black products, but still i'm excited...I'm not the hugest fan of MES but i still love these ones coming out. I have this date saved so i won't forget. and it's been a while since i've been this excited about a MAC collection.

Did you try them over a good base? I used to hate them until I started using shadesticks religously. Every collection has some good shades and bad shades though, where some can be chunky or glittery. But I love the end result.

that's what happens when you put gold in a black base. it turns green. just like red in a black base turns purple.

I've been lurking on Specktra for what seems like forever and this collection actually made me register so I could post!

This collection is amazing, I'm so excited!! I'll be getting at least one of everything and stocking up on the VAE. Can't wait to rock this collection!
