Please don't cry! I think NY stores are doing this just for the fashion's night out. MAC is one of the participating retailers and NY is one of the 13 cities in the world where it's taking place. I sure will do a review, at least I'll try to take as many pictures as possible since I'm not good at describing colors and such like you all

Even Love that Look collection hasn't been released there yet...they also have a strict law for red dyes so some of the red/pink/purple pigments or eyeshadows dont even exist...also the new government is just...arghhhhh (sorry, random rant)

Thank you for letting us know! I rarely ever get event emails, just emails on free shipping, mainly; I guess I haven't been spending enough! I'm definitely planning on being on line no later than 5:30.

so i just used the mask in the shower, and it was nice. granted, it was the first time using it, so i really can't say much other than my skin felt uber soft after (i used it along with the VAE).

it doesn't smell like the VAE (which is more earthy, dirt-like is scent). the VATM smelled more spicy, kinda like a spicy spaghetti sauce, or spicy sausage. i can't put my finger on it, but that's what it smelled like to me. and the warming sensation is very apparent on your hands. once it touches the face, it tends to disappear, so if want the warming more on your face, i'd apply it with a fan brush, which is what i'm gonna try next time.

now i don't get blemishes, so i won't be able to tell you how it works over time for those, but it does absorb excess oil and helps maintain clear skin, so this is what i'll be using it for.

so far i like it.

p.s. it tastes nasty, so like the VAE, keep it out of your mouth!

^Me too. VAE and VATM will be my first purchases before the MES, Blackfire glimmerglass and Black Knight l/s. I'm going to get the black greasepaint stick when DSquared2 comes out.

So I got to see this today,or rather parts of it since the MA was busy.All I can say is.....wow!This collection is the shit I tell you

The mes are just gorgeous,they're glittery,and swatch great.My fave is Young Punk,I was practically drooling over these.I wanted 3 of them,but now I'm getting all 4.Pictures don't do these justice.
The greasepaint stick is just amazing,wicked creamy,even creamier than shadesticks.It definately has purple in it,esp when you step in the light.It is beautiful,I don't think I can stop raving about it

The swatch is still on my hand 3 hours later,not budging.
The nail lacquers,soooo hot!The one with pink glitters in it,you def see the little glitter flecks in it.
The black lippie is very glossy,I liked it but I still don't want it.
Blackfire glimmerglass,I didn't swatch it but it is so sexy looking.
So I will be getting all of the mes,Blackfire,the gold nl and the pink nl,the greasepaint stick and volcanic ash mask.Sept. 24 seriously can't get here fast enough

I love MAC, Chanel and Nars for putting out these edgy collections. When everyone else, is putting out cookie-cutter things, you've seen done to death, they go for the gusto. They are offering dark things that are wearable, functional and good honest makeup fun.

I am excited for above and will probably get 1 to 2 things from each but they will take me through the fall in grand highfalutin style.

Pencil me down for: Greasepaint, Night Violet and glimmerpurpleshimmer.

Guess what everyone? I found this video tutorial, from a Taiwanese makeup artist who is doing a Sexy-Rock-n-Roll makeup looking using........ STYLE BLACK COLLECTION!

As far as I can tell he used the Purpley-Black shadow, the green-sparkle lipgloss, the grease-paint stick.

Hope this is helpfull

Oooh, the Foursome fan club! :p Or should be find a less suggestive name? I too thought that most people would go for all 4. I guess it helps to have only just started collecting. (Colour Craft was my first collection, though I only bought Trimming Talk and the 130).

I CAN'T wait to see this, although I can because I need to save up for it in the worst way. I am SO going to rock those black lips!

This is my most anticipated release this year, with Makeup Art being second, although now that dazzleglass cremes are getting closer...

Anyway, the Foursome Fan club Forever! (name is a work in progress)

thanks for the viedo! i had no idea on what was being said but LOVED the products!!! and yes the inner eye looks soooo sparkly... and i didn't see a massive amount of fallout on her cheek either! only a little.

i thought the gloss would be a little darker in colour though... but i'm still getting it!

^^ the makeup artist in the video recommended using finger to apply the dark part of young punk mes because he said using a brush would cause fall out...

he also said to don't put too much of the gloss and that he only put it in the middle of the lips

... just wanted to let you know, just in case

ZOMG!!! after watching that video i want:
-all of the MES
-now i want one of the greasepaints

no longer do i want any of the VAE or VATM

here makeup was so incredibly hot! all of my possible purchases for makeup art cosmetics have gone out the window
