ok, so has anyone else noticed that it looks like the descriptions of some of the shadesticks have been mixed up?

As they currently stand:
Cakeshop: Frosted light neutral beige
Butternutty: Frosted pale white gold
Lemon Chiffon: Frosted pewter

Personally, I think they should be as follows:

Cakeshop: Frosted Pewter
Butternutty: Frosted light neutral beige
Lemon Chiffon: Frosted pale white gold

What does everyone think?

It was driving me crazy, because Lemon Chiffon HAS to be gold/yellow, right???

They do sound mixed up.

I am more and more unsure about the Shadesticks.


Would they be dupeable like that?

Lemon Chiffon = Bare Study p/p
Cakeshop = Greenstroke p/p


In the swatches from xbrookecorex these look so close:

Butternutty = Beige-ing s/s
Red Velvet = Crimsonaire s/s

Would a lighty applied Flammable p/t even be a dupe for Red Velvet?

I think if anything was a dupe for lemon chiffon it might be base light paint? Or perhaps Cash Flow paint pot but I doubt it...

Red Velvet is too pinky red to be duped by Flammable... your best bet is a light coat of Crimsonaire s/s I think

Thanks for that! I have been reading the descriptions of the shadesticks and matching them with the swatches (because I want to buy one to try out first) but find them bewildering.

I am better off just waiting to see them IRL.

I actually like that a lot, because Cake Shop looks a lot more like a grey shadestick.
MAC, is there is a grey shadestick in this collection I will love you forever. I never liked backups, but I might get a backup of this one.
Please, it's my birthday when this collection launches!

Thanks for the new pics. I have no shadesticks so no worries about dupes. I am getting them all.... if budget allows at the time. I also want to get Dear Cupcake, Aquavert, and maybe Club. The lipsticks I have to try in person because as I found out with HK, they don't always look same as pics.
