I just realized that I have a colur similar to Bubbles: an old (dc'd) Chanel lipstick called Snowflake. It's more of a frosty pale white-pink, but it'll do.

In my opinion, Perfect Topping and Lightscapade are very different. Lightscapade is way paler and Perfect Topping is much more of a peach color.

Adina, I always call the pro store the day I think it's going to come out, or I just go in. Many times I've just gone in and they have the collection, even though I called the day before and was told differently. A few times I went in and they put the collection out because I told them it was supposed to be out that day! Usually a week earlier than everywhere else. Go figure

I'm going to MAC PRO in LA today. I hope they have it out. I'm going in hopes of seeing the MSF's. I gotta go down there today anyway so it won't be to big of a deal if its not there, though. I get more money next week so I'll just go to my counter next week if I have to. Right now I'm thinking one of the MSF's (probably Refined) and then look at the shadesticks and maybe a eyeshadow.

I really, really want the green nail polish but I have been burned by MAC np's before. I have Seasonal Peach and HATE it. Had Dark Angel and HATED it. Beautiful colors but the amount of coats and the lack of staying power were annoying. So I will resist the nail polish. I will O_O. LOL

Okay,so I saw part of Sugarsweet today.Unfortunately not all of it,because the counter didn't get a bunch of it in.Here are my thoughts:The tricolour glosses are very pretty,but a little sheer.The colors stay seperated after you use them.The golden brown didn't interest me,and the lightest one with the green in it is extremely sheer,I wouldn't bother with it unless you want a clear gloss with shimmer.The other 3 were gorgeous,Tasty,Just Dessert and Simply Delicious I took home with me.For the shadesticks I saw Cakeshop-which is a pretty olive green.Penny is the same copper,and I also saw Lemon Chiffon.It is a frosty cream color,not at all pewter.Aquavert is the same beautiful minty green as before.Saint Germain is very pigmented and so hot,it is very similar to melrose mood.I swatched it with Show Orchid from Colour Ready(which I will post my review on that in the CR thread)and it turned this really sexy pink color

So I ended up taking home:tasty,just dessert and simply delicious glosses and saint germain ls from this collection.I will go back next week to pick up more when the rest of the collection comes in.Oh,and the shadesticks are really creamy,they glide on and don't budge at all.

Maybe I can get some opinions on Refined MSF (I already KNOW I'm getting Perfect Topping, haha). I'm very fair, I can work Light/N3/NW15 (various powders), I'm wondering if Refined is going to be too orange on me. The swatches look orange, but it looks more peachy in the pot. Any thoughts?

Is it me or is Cakeshop silvery? ... it looks greyish and I'm not seeing any green, lol... I'm really confused

Does anyone know if Perfect Topping MSF would be ok on NW15? I really like the purple in it but I don't know how it would show up on me and I can't test it out myself.

I'm definitely still going to skip the MSFs, they really do look pretty, but I like more pigmented MSFs, I know I would reach for my blush-like MSFs more, rather than put a blush on, and then a highlighter and take that extra step.

Just something for everyone to think on!

I completely agree! So I will be skipping these as well. Perfect Topping, especially, seemed to have no color payoff....just a highlighter. I'll stick to Blonde and Redhead for now. I can't wait to get Red Velvet s/s. I loved it when I saw it! Dear Cupcake is going to look gorge over it. I am also contemplating getting 2 LL l/s (one backup). I keep wanting to sneak some more s/s back onto my list....and now seeing some of these Grand Duo swatches, I think I might have to take a glance at those as well when I'm at MAC. Eeeeee.....MAC just take ALL my money, what don't you!
