and stop posting about sugary nom noms! I have a red velvet cake I've been trying to avoid all evening. Gah!

ETA: Susanne, you are absolutely going to love this msf. I've been collecting msfs since the Lingerie collection msfs and this one is by far and away my fav. so far. It is pretty much glitter-free and the pearl is just gorgeous. It gives a finish like a beauty powder, glow, not glitter. I just can't say enough good things about it. The last time I got this excited about a MAC powder product was the Barbie beauty powders.

OMG Red velvet is my favorite in the WORLD!!! Served it at my wedding....It's been over 2 years since I had a taste!!!!!

Tippy + Moonriver = Love Rock

Fun&Games + a touch of Hotplanet + Tahitian Sand = Refined (Just gotta work it with the right amount but it's possible)

Blonde + Tippy = A better dupe of Love Rock if you didn't have Moonriver

Blonde + Fun&Games = Awesome peachy blush

I would pick Perfect Topping if I had to choose. But if you get that, I wouldn't get Blonde

those are just some of the nice combos on my NC25 that I could remember right now

I bought Butternutty shadestick today. I LOVE IT! I read all sorts of negative things about shadesticks, and while I realize that this new formula is a bit different, I'm still impressed! (this is my first shadestick)

I found it very smooth and creamy, didn't tug at my eyelids much and I didn't warm it up prior to usage either. It's really easy to blend, I just have to make sure I do it quickly or else it'll set. And when it sets it takes a bit of effort to remove - so I'm also impressed by the staying power. Plus the colour is a really pretty frosty nude that leans on the pink side. Perfect base under any eyeshadow!

<33 ...Everyone get the shadesticks!!! I'm gonna go back for Cakeshop and maybe Penny tomorrow.

So I went down to MAC Nordstroms in Stonestown Mall here in San Francisco yesterday... I knew I wasn't going to get any eyeshadows (I just have too much already, I have dupes of all the SS colors). I got Perfect Topping MSF, Peppermint Patti nail polish, and Butternutty shadestick. I wasn't sure about Refined MSF - it looked kind of orange to me? I dunno. I'm nc15.... any other pale girls get Refined? I'm debating if I should go back and get it, because I love MSFs so and I hate the thought that there's a new one available that I don't have..but then if it's not going to look good on me, i really don't want it.

LOVE Butternutty. I'm going to go back and get the pewter colored one, it's a really unique color IMO.

Btw, my friend and I got there at like 11:20 am, and I got the last bottle of Peppermint Patti - I guess they didn't get very many bottles...

I swatched Refined on my skin, and I did like the way it looked, but because I couldn't exactly swatch it on my face at the time... I wasn't too sure about it. It has some nice qualities, but it was just a bit too orange on me, but I'm a NC10-15, so I'm actually lighter than most.

I might go back and get it anyways... and try it out, see how it works, or I'll go back and see how it looks on my cheeks instead.

I got one of the last bottles of Peppermint Patti as well at my Macy's

It's sad... because it's such a gorgeous color on your nails... I am in love with it.

Yeah, I think I'm going to go back and get it. The MA and my friend both said they thought it worked on me, I just have a fear of looking like Lindsay Lohan (pale girl trying for color and ending up looking orange). If it doesn't work when I get it home I can always sell/swap it.

I am NW25. I swatched Refined on my hand next to perfect topping and there really wasn't THAT much of a difference believe it or not! They both give a pale glow (not glittery). The deciding factor to me was that the Perfect topping was just a hint of a pinkish shade. The Refined just looked a bit shimmery- not corally or orange really (maybe because I am a bit tan

and it blended into my skin except for a hint or shimmer). Refined was very pretty though! But I would recommend swatching it on your skin because it looks a lot different on than in the pan.

Oh, and the MA said that the tri color lipglosses also look A LOT different on than in the tubes and she told me I should try them before buying because they look different on different people. I didn't have time (or money lol) to try them but they look pretty!
