FINALLY Lightscapade (or a similar product at least

) is being brought back. I've been seriously considering spending 60 bux for it on Ebay (UM NO!) This will probably be another big haul for me.. I spent $230 (including 2 backups) on BBR) but I definitely want a lot of things from this collection by the sound of it.

Can't wait to see pictures :dances:

Claires/Icing had lipglosses like that...

personally...they look nice, and I love everything MAC puts otu basically. But I dont see the point in these. You guys are saying you DONT want them to mix...but how else would u use them? Wouldnt it be impossible to pick up just one color? You'd be getting...clear lipgloss. I just dont get it. And plus, these sound super sheer to me...theyd have to be unique and not expensive for me to consider them.

The shadesticks sound nice but cake shop looks like...a muddy color. Is it just me? Anyways we'll see....

Realistically I probably wont get the new MSF for this collection. Although Lightscapade is very pretty, it is just too subtle for my skin tone/needs. Meh. I still want to see pictures though!

Ok, see, this is why they are so difficult. You need an EVEN AMOUNT of all three shades to make these usable. Using the layers in different amounts would be bad, as would a dirty, muddy looking gloss if the three layers mixed all weird. These just... no. Just NO.

I don't want the MSF. Hahaha. I've seen Lightscapade, seems too light to me.

And OCD.
I'm a bit crazy too.
On Itunes, they used to show on the side the number of times you've played a song (until I took it off). For each album EVERY song had to have the same play count and if I just listened to one song, I had to make sure to click through the rest to keep the song even. I wouldn't be able to sleep if I didn't do that!

I was the same way with like.. getting my backpack ready for school during middle school. I had to arrange everything like so. Climb into bed, climb out of bed, check my stuff again, and go back to bed.

And now.. I have to make sure I have my school ID and room card with me before I shut the door. I KNOW it's in my pocket, but I gotta pull it out of my pocket and see it, before I can shut the door.

So yeah.
That's why I can't deal with the layered glosses.
I do the same thing Samantha does when she uses lipglosses over lipsticks too! (And this is also why I can't buy holiday lip palettes, can't stand the mixing and the mess!)

I have a face palette with shadows, lipsticks and a CCB. I'm scared to use the lipsticks. I always have to pull out my keys and bus pass to look at, or at least touch them in my pocket so I know they're there (this looks mildly less insane).

Oh, and I totally had to add a second set of bimbo magic to make my signature symmetrical. I can deal with asymmetry if it is balanced, but that was not the case here. Plus, more magic is always good!

How come only one MSF? Don't they know that we need more? I bought all three from BBR and a Brunette backup. If the one with this collection is too light I guess I can use it as a highlight or something. I haven't even seen it and am looking for a reason to buy it.

I think there's only one that we know about. It's possible that there is more.

i totally do the chapstick thing too! i'm ocd with alot of things. i can only eat things in pairs (little candies, cookies, etc.). that's prolly why my ass is so huge! i also separate the candies into piles by colors. if there's an odd number of one color, the dog gets it! things have to be at right angles on the table, things are lined up with the labels facing the same way, towels folded the same with the folds lined up, etc. its nuts, but it keeps me sane!

I separate candy by colours too! Like if there's purple, pink and blue; I separate them into groups and then I'll eat a one pink, purple and blue at a time (so I have an even amount of each colour). I can't eat two pink and then have less pink than the other colours! Haha did that make sense?

Also when I'm watching youtube, I have to have the page scrolled down a certain way. I can't really explain it but the toolbar has line up right above the title.

I think the shadestick packaging wouldn't bother me that much, but the lipglass packaging would. I don't think I could buy a square MAC lipglass.

yes! if i have one pink, one blue, one green, etc., i have to eat them together. but if i have 2 pink, and one of each, that poor little pink loner gets the boot! i really wish they all had a matching color mate, but if not, its a singles party!

i remember separating my skittles into color piles at basic training and everyone laughed at me.

good to know i'm not the only crazy one. when i open a bag of skittles, i always count them first and make sure there are the same number of each color in the bag, then eat 1 "set" at a time.

also, i order each "set" according to color spectrum and i refuse to eat clashing colors together (eg: no green after red or yellow after purple)

Yeah, I used to do that with M+M's too. I loved the "tan" colored ones, and would separate them out and save them for last. The old ones when the tan color looked like Mac's e/s in ochre. And I don't even like the color brown, well except in chocolate!

In fact, many food colors are compared to assorted makeup colors, in my crazy world. Today I was having a dessert with a blackcurrant sauce and I put the color on my lips, cause it was gorgeous!

Okay, time for bed...I'm ranting.
