MAC - Sugar Sweet Discussion

I don't know what I am via MAC standards because I use clinique, but in clinique I use their "Supermoisture Makeup" in 01 Pure Porcelain which is listed as (very Fair - Neutral). That is one thing I really noticed, saint germaine instantly made me look a little bit "darker", although I don't know if that is the word, but I did feel that it made my skin tone appear different.

We're probably similar coloring. I am very fair as well. I think what threw me off with SG is the fact that my lips are highly pigmented (very rosy) and my natural lip color and the l/s color were clashing....probably if I apply it better and sheerer it would work out.
I'm glad I got the gloss, too! It's very sparkly and pretty! It's funny, though, because I didn't exactly remember which gloss I picked out until I got home and looked at my stuff and was like....hmmmm, I thought I got the darker pink one...lol....but I'm happy with the one I have.....I think I got a little flustered with my MA since she was kind of pushier than the others there I'm used to...I wanted to get my items and get out....LOL

Damn, I don't know if it's the fact that my lips aren't that pigmented, or what, but I think St. Germaine makes me look like I dipped my lips in Pepto Bismol
I knew it would be bright, but it's practically neon on me! I tried to nude it down with myth, but that might be the wrong nude to use because it made it look orangey instead.
