i just did this and i put it right back in. its way to messy. when you stick the applicator in the gloss gets all over it and its so messy. the plastic thingy maybe stop from getting alot of product but it helps it not be so crazy messy

I used Taupe blush, it's available at the Pro store in pro palette only. It was one of the first things I ever bought from MAC, along with Taupe pencil and lipstick.

Thanks to all for sharing your thoughts on the products, which have helped me to have a good idea on what I want to buy. I'm very excited to get them.

I agree with you. Sometime i think it's a good thing we are waiting a bit longer so that we can read other memebers thoughts and also see swatches.

I've been gone for sooooo long. Anywho, I got a backup of Lollipop Loving, Saint germain (which my MA called Saint Bernard by accident haha) and one of the glosses in Simply delicious? I think thats the name...I got it because it looked good over Lollipop Loving.

I havent tried the shadesticks or eyeshadows.

OH....I was super broke when this released.....and they were sold out of Peppermint Patti in 2 days! So I tried super hard 2 find one, and I sent my boyfriend to macys, they had ONE left and held it for me! So i got that too

Awww thanks guys! Im so happy to finally be able to use the computer again. I havent been making many online purchases, but Ive been able to go to my MAC store way more than in the past. Sadly, I dont think I'll ever catch up on everything I missed, but oh well

I missed everyone a lot. I need to go see some swatches of all the new products

This was my first experience with shadesticks and now I am hooked! I got Red Velvet, Penny and Cakeshop. Plus the Nordies website has brought back some of the oldies so I got Sharkskin and Sea Me.

Here's the link for you ladies before Sharkskin sells out...again...

I think it may depend a little on which perfect topping you get. Mine has alot of purple and pink veining in it, so the colors really show up on my cheeks (i am nw15) but some of the perfect topping which less color may only work as a highlighter for you... Each one is diffrent... But we love them all...

that's the only downside to buying online! i can't exactly ask the warehouse people to hunt for a perfect topping with lots of lavender in it! it's all luck of the drawer for me! but i'm still looking forward to buying it... to use as a highlighter or blush.
