MAC - Sugar Sweet Discussion

Okay so just to illustrate the importance in hand picking your sugar sweet MSF. I have compared two different Refined MSFs. One has hardly any coral/dark peach while the other has a fair amount of it. I swirled my finger all over each one individually and swatched it on my arm. HUGE difference. LIke two completely different MSF's. On my skintone anyway ( I don't know what I am in Mac for sure but I am guessing NW15??) I'm pale with some freckles and pink undertones.







And just for Cuteness factor, my cat was on my bed where my make up is currently scattered lol and she was playing with perfect topping. I love this MSF. I think it is on my list of top 10 makeup products.





In regards to the shadesticks, I love them all, minus Cakeshop which was a complete frosty, creasey, grey sparkley mess.
I wore BUtternutty today with Sugarshot, pink freeze, Stars'n'Rockets, Viz-aviolet and romping. I went to dance practice and sweat like a hooker in church and it still didn't crease or fade too much

I was impressed. THese new shadesticks must be a new formula because Beigeing has creased under such circumstances in the past.
Lemon Chiffon is amazing! But I like neutrals and golds etc soooooo I was bound to love it lol.

I didn't find the grand duos to be glitter bombs. I have Moon river and PT and while they swatch similar on my hand they do look different on my cheeks. YOu really have to try things on to know sometimes, which can be frusterating.

I too found Lollipop lovin' blah on me. I was really unimpressed, just looked like greeny-gold shimmer and I found the texture drying.

I am on the bubbles bandwagon though

^^That kitty pic made my day!

I finally found a way for St. Germain to work for me...I filled in my lips verrrry lightly with a white eye pencil (i know, lol) and used a lip brush to put a little bit of St. Germain on top. I'm so pale that the deep pink almost made my skin look muddy, and using a nude color to tone it down only made it orangey. White worked nicely

Now double dazzle needs to come out so I can put some baby sparks on top!

This is exactly what Sara's MA told her to do...color her lips in with fascinating White Kohl liner then put St Germ lightly over it...I'm gonna try it with white Chromaline.....I need the white to stay put .....

I can wear PT as a blush...however I did take another poster's suggestion to spray a little fix+ on my 187 and then apply it...that intensified the color...and it came out gorgeous!!

I also tried it over Tippy blush, and that was really nice too!

I feel like I might need to get a back up of Perfect topping, I use it everyday as an all over face powder. It sets my makeup perfectly adding the slightest glow. I never ever get back up of things and all those new MSF's are coming out. I am trying to behave and its not working for me! Help
