So much for being done with my haul. I brought back Perfect Topping with me today (after sneaking a peek in the forbidden MAC drawer, I fell in love with a particular PT at first sight). I will upload a picture of the lovely creature later.

My MA and I also handpicked a Refined with the most coral veining (which isn't that much to be honest). I didn't buy it back yet because I'm out of cash, but it's reserved for me at the counter.

I kinda regret looking in the MAC drawer though. I had only intended to buy Refined and wanted to pick out the one with the darkest veining so I could *hopefully* use it as a blush, but lo and behold the first thing that caught my eye was the very pretty PT msf.

I'm wondering if I should still get Refined though. I'm disappointed that the one with the most coral veining stilll isn't that 'dark' (it had a lot of pale patches). Plus it's definitely not as pretty looking as PT.

^^^ yeah we all have the same intentions...welcome to our world.....And nope it is not as easy to say No regardless of how much you research and see swatches prior to buying. I truly love both MSF's personally..But I do think if you have Redhead ....refined is skippable...IMO

Might be quite hard though, I always buy makeup for a little pick-me-up, and I haven't been in the best of moods lately.

This is why I don't bother making lists and lists, i can only decide when I see in person!

I agree! I usually have some idea of the things I am interested in looking at - but if I go in with a list, I never end up with the things I thought I would.

Hey! I have never actually used a MAC foundation or had my shade "evaluated" as I am loyal to my clinique skin products and they work well for me (if it isn't broke, don't fix it right).
I use Clinique Super Moisture Makeup in Pure Porcelain which is listed as a neutral fair but I think I am more to the warmer side and based on peoples pictures on here I would guess I am NW15 or NW20 in MAC. I would say try Refined, as pretty as perfect topping is I have been using a lot more lately. I I think it would show up on you, but I could be wrong. I figured Fun and Games BPB would show up nicely on me since I am pale and fair I could NOT get it to

I tried it with a variety of brushes and no dice. Yet it looked AMAZING on my brother's Girlfriend who is MAC NC20 so I sold it to her.
Did they have a tester so you could try on Refined at your counter?

It is still nice to add a golden sheen over blush too if you just use the light patches. I really like pairing it with Benefit's Coralista blush! One of my favourite combos lately
