Check out this site, as well, if you haven't already: Sur La Table. They are from Seattle, like all good things are! Their first store opened in the Pike Place Market, just around the corner from the very first Starbucks.

Here are some of my fave Sur La Table items:

Pallino Glasses, Beer, Set of 4 - Sur La Table
Laguiole Etched-Glass Carafe, Set of 2 - Sur La Table
Porcelain Lion's Head Tureen - Sur La Table
Italian Ceramic Divided Salt Boxes - Salt & Spice Containers - Decor & Accessories - Tabletop & Serving - Sur La Table

I love cassoulet, so I want this: Emile Henry Fig Flame-Top Cassoulet Pot - Sur La Table

Back to Wills Sonoma, you must order one variety of these: Scones, Pastries, Croissants, Homemade Biscuits & Sticky Buns | Williams-Sonoma

On another note, I can't remember if it was Wills Sonoma or Sur La Table that I purchased it from, but one of them occasionally sells smoked sea salt. So yum.

OK...back to makeup now

Yes indeed! In honor of Sugar Sweet I am taking the family (dh driving) to get sweets today even though I am feeling quite sick.

Repromotes piss me off because when I buy a "Limited Edition", I usually expect the items to be limited editions. I don't even think twice about it anymore with MAC. I know at some point in time, I will see it again.

There used to be special feeling I would get when new collections launched and to me, "limited edition" items that I can only get with that particular "collection" is a part of the excitement. I am over buying shizz b/c of packaging. If I miss a color b/c I don't have the money, I don't fret b/c I know in a year or even 2 months it will be re-promoted as a LE product for another collection.

At this point, I'd just prefer MAC to have a really big bad ass perm line and screw the collections. I'm not going to sweat missing an msf or e/s anymore.

I totally misread this, and honestly thought you were referring to a big bad ass gem (remember the red she said love for the red gem?). Yea I need to slow down and read things, not make em up in my head!!

I went searching for red velvet cupcakes and ended up with a slice of the cake version, oh well at least it satisfied my craving!

I worked at Sur La Table for a year, I can't tell you how much stuff I have! I like those salt boxes as well.
Also worth noting at Williams Sonoma:I just bought the set, and if you've ever eaten these you'd buy this to make at home too: Bouchon Mold & Bouchon Mix | Williams-Sonoma

I bought a big ol' slab of layered chocolate cake for DH and I to share for v-day...we still haven't eaten it. Poor thing must feel like it hasn't fulfilled its destiny. I'll bet the pudding is mocking it right now.

I hope not, the pro store is such much further away from me than my counter at Myer.

Does anyone know why only some store get a collection and not others?

Aw hell no! That means I have to either schedule a trip interstate or organise a CP!

It's sucky. Some collections are more "exclusive". I'm crossing my fingers that this is just exclusive to DJ's or something and not just to pro stores. At least we have a DJ's MAC counter in Adelaide, but no pro store

It's official.

I am buying ALL the shade sticks and three of the five shadows.

DUN DUN DUN....... I can already hear my card flat lining.

EDIT, EDIT!!!! Ok, I have now added the two MSF just because I love them. Maybe a lipstick or two and maybe one gloss... or three.

Now it's official and set in stone. I should probably put my card in some water and shove it in the freezer.

SIKE! hahahahahahahah

The chocolate Bouchons are amazing...lol. I had them at the restaurant in Vegas. My mom also works at Williams-Sonoma and I was in the store one day when she was making these for samples (waiting for my HK order to be put together)....of course she saved me a whole one!
