MAC Taste Temptations Collection (November 2012; December 2012)

Yay! a collection i can possibly skip! (all I'm really looking at are the blushes and the chances of me getting them are slim to none) $$$$$$ saved!

anyone know which collection party parrot and pink pigeon are being released with? I thought it was this one but boy was i wrong... *collection-information-overload*

A clip from the "Our Gang" / "Little Rascals" series of short movies mostly from the 1930s - although the first in the series were silents begun in 1922. They were unusual for their time in that there were black and white kids and boys and girls together as equals. This is looks like Spanky, who joined the cast at age three in 1931. The "Gang" included a lovable and much-put-upon Pit Bull called Pete, with a ring drawn around one eye.

Thanks for posting. LOL. I was feeling pretty old when no one recognized Spanky.

This collection comes out six days after my bday! I knew there was a reason I liked you so much my sagitarius sister! :bouquet:

I looooove Fresh Amour - I even backed it up. I'm not 100% sure why it works so well on me, but I think it might have to do with my skin having yellowish undertones - orange and purple are compliments on the color wheel, so pale lavender + yellow flesh color could have a connection. I also can wear Quite Cute without a hassle. I do apply them both very lightly, and press the color into my lips with my fingertips, then reapply a little more if needed to even things out.

I stick to browns and coppers on the eyes with them, or black; and I tend to skip blush and only use highlighter or bronzer with them. Also I only wear them with either black clothes or really ultra-feminine, romantic clothes - they're not good colors to wear with some old jeans, if you ask me. Some more pinkish lavenders don't look as well on me as these two do (I also do really well with Cinestyle c/s/g and the pale lavender plushglass from Quite Cute.)


I loved Nico Now!! That's one of the very few glosses I have that eventually went bad on me, though. I threw it out before I knew about B2M.

I'm not 100% sure about the level or color of the shimmer and sheen in the lavender blush in this collection, but my MA was very enthusiastic about it and felt it was waaaaay better than FoJ from Tres Cheek.

I've been wanting Good Times lipglass ever since I heard about that Hi-Def Cyan Chromagraphic Pencil, Violetta l/s, Good Times l/g combo. I have all items except Good Times, which is currently on MAC's site now.

Is it possible Stay Sultry may have shimmer whereas Naval doesn't?

Yes, one was a frost finish, if I recall correctly, and one was a satin or a matte. I thought it was interesting to do a quad with 2 of the same color but in different textures.

Perky - Mid-tone shimmering lilac
- both lipglasses are *maybes*, depending on how different they are from what I already have. I'll only get one, max.

Powder Blush
Unconventional - Pale shimmering lavender


Do we know if the eyeshadows are in a quad or separate? Either way they're a skip for me. The only one that I liked the sound of was Look At The Eyes, but I'm guessing it's the same shade from the In The Gallery quad which was nothing special.
