MAC Taste Temptations Collection (November 2012; December 2012)

Assuming this actually makes it to the UK, my list is pretty short. Right now I'm interested in

Nocturnal Instincts l/s
Revenge is Sweet lipglass
Perky lipglass
Unconventional blush
Blue Gaze nail lacquer

The lipglasses are maybes at most - as a MAC newbie I've not tried that formula yet, and I don't wear gloss very much, so they'd have to be pretty much perfect, and I can't see myself getting more than one. Blue Gaze is a maybe also.

I think I am only interested in the blush at this point unless the mattenes are something special, which I am losing hope on that. I guess I could easily be sucked back into the quad, but only if there is color payoff there, otherwise I am over it. I agree Naval e/s as a veluxe would be nice, a VP would be even better. I know MAC is capable of better finish so they need to do some quads with e/s in the EDES or Peacocky finish. Hey, an all VP or Starflash quad would be alright with me.

I agree! Loving how the blushes look. I also like the mattenes. Not sure if it's my eyes, but Nocturnal Instincts doesn't look too lavender/grey in my eyes. Oh well. Still buying all three mattenes and Unconvential blush. That will be it besides Jet. Need to save for Strength, Apres Chic, Archie and whatever else is making it's way to us in 2013.

It really depends on swatches I'm afraid. I was interested in the lavender blush and the mattenes, but that's all. Someone is already doing a cp for me for Jet lipstick and the Strength collection, I guess I can ask her for this collection too.

No Strength collection for EU either? Are you kidding me? You mean I'll need a CP for Jet, Strength and this?

I was thinking this would be a pretty small haul for me, but after seeing the promo pics, I might need both blushes, at least two mattenes if not all three, and a lipglass (or two?). I think if I limit it to things that are really unlike anything else in my stash, I could knock a couple of things off that list, but wow. Now I'm even more eager for swatches!!!

Does Unconventional look almost like Well-Dressed to anyone else? I know it's a different finish and that the color isn't exactly the same, but it looks fairly close in the promo pic. I might have to dig it out and hold them side by side to compare.

From the promo pictures, I would get the violet mattene and that's it. I love Macroviolet fluidline, but I can get it anytime. The blush doesn't really look as purple as I hoped, ditto on both mattenes. I am not putting up with another quad containing the e/s Carbon unless the other 3 shadows are fan-forking-tastic. I think I am over it. (A navy blue in VP finish does sound delish, but I am going to have to say no)

Eh, I'll wait until I see swatches or see them for myself. I thought the greyed lavender mattene would be more like Lime Crime's Chinchilla...it's so not.

i agree. they look nothing like the description. i skipped all the past mattenes so ill skip these too
