MAC The Matte Lip Collection (May 28/ June 4, 2015)

They all look great but based upon the picture, I think I am ok with just having Stone and Whirl in pencil format. I'll definitely pick up Studded Kiss, still a maybe on Steady Going, and I'll have to see Men Love Mystery in person. It's really nice to see such a diverse line up.

I already have Studded Kiss and Dangerous, Steady Going and Runaway Hit didn't look good on me when I tried them when they last launched, so that just leaves a handful for me to pick up thank heavens. Matte Royale, Instigator (I sold mine like a dope), Stone, Whirl, D for Danger and Antique Velvet. I'm still kind torn on that one though and want to see it next to Film Noir before buying. What's on your list?

Matte Royal - of course Instigator - I miss having it in a tube, it's in a cute 5ml pot Studded Kiss - might as well complete the PC lipstick collection Men Love Mystery - Obvious reason Stone - it looks very interesting... I must have it Tropic Tonic - it reminds me of Toxic Tale for some reason... I missed it in the Red Red Red collection Persistence Naturally Transformed Antique Velvet Whirl

Thank you. They all look wonderful. Since I need to be more of a penny pincher these days. My list consists of:

Whirl, Stone, Matte Royal, Men Love Mystery and maybe Steady Going. I may end up with just Stone, Whirl and MLM though due to finances.

Antique Velvet is exactly what I was hoping for: a true, dark brown. Not too red or too yellow. I hope Matte Royal is actually blue and doesn't have a lot of purple. Hate purple tbh. I like the look of Whirl. Stone looks nice too but I'd rather just wear RiRi Nude, I think. And I want Naturally Transformed. So basically 4. Not too bad. I'm so impatient for this collection, though.

Those swatches are gorgeous, thank you for sharing! Antique Velvet reminds me of Pitch from CP, but I plan to pick it up anyway because I love MAC mattes. Other definites are Stone, Matte Royal, and Whirl. I don't care much anymore for Tropic Tonic or Men Love Mystery. Now just waiting to see Persistence but I may skip that too even based off the description. I like color variety when I buy from collections and seeing most of the swatches side by side like this proves my selection is brown-heavy haha.

I was thinkin of just keepin stone in pencil form too esp since I have occ Sebastian which I looooove!! I don't have whirl pencil so the ocd in me miiiiight just get the lippie! matte royal is a definite for me annnnd im thinkin of naturally transformed but I need to see some lip swatches cuz I don't want it to give me the "concealer" lip look!! Antique I can pass cuz I have Bite Beauty Cognac which is as brown as I wanna go!! anything deeper is just POO lips

(plus there's tons of brown liner I can merely rub for the desired effects **also looks at Anastasia brow pomade**)
